Oh, well. There was some movement on the bath paths. That was at least entertaining.

Would love to see us get the first two runners on base and maybe see if we can do something with it.

Can't afford to play Cardinals like defense during a time when a big offensive day is two runs.

Rickets should force them to go out for St Louis Pizza I mean these bums should be shamed and feel bad over their putrid performance the last 2 days but we don’t need to poison or kill them. The offense deserves no mercy.

I was really feeling myself after the 10-2 comeback, but this game and they Heyward article are all the confirmation I need to realize I am still a monster. Not sure what happened in that Atlanta game. It’s OK. Nobody is perfect.

We also had an eight-game stretch in June-July 2015 in which we scored three or fewer runs: 1, 2, 0, 2, 1, 1, 1, 2. At least it hasn't been that bad.

Suppose it was unfair to ask Baez to change so quickly. At this point, it was simply a Soriano hot streak, which was pretty awesome.

We seem to miss a lot of pitches while trying to make contact with them.

We can't have that be the case until like the fourth or fifth year. Because if somehow you are right, paying Heyward and Yu a combined $40 plus million the next five seasons will blow.

Figure it out, Yu, because I believe in Yu. And, really, we have six seasons with Yu, so it's important.

To be honest, one pitch to erase sort of a normal game's worth of production.

With KB, Rizzo and Willson coming up, would love to see us get a hit.

I'm just thankful we somehow won five of what likely will end up being eight straight games with three or fewer runs. (Assuming Duker isn't right that we win). This stretch could have been really bad.

It would have been risky to throw home, but I'd have taken the chance. Tough to see this team scoring five runs.

Damn man, we can't let guys steal third that easily when they aren't Billy Hamilton.

I'm positive KB hits another home run. I'm not quite as positive, but still hopeful, that we score at least four runs in a game again. It would be great if both happened today, in fact.

I mean yeah the error was the biggest play of the inning but he walked the leadoff man for the second inning in a row and gave up a sharp single and was charged with an earned run. Doesn't seem that unfair to me I won't argue about anything but that earned run, since it was not an earned run.

Not much of Yu's fault that inning. Good way to rebound and only give up the one run that likely was going to score considering other teams are better than us getting runners home from third with less than two outs..........or right now, just getting runs home.

Well, probably don't want to be making those mistakes during a time when three runs might win it for the other team.
