    Not the way he'd been playing so far, which is why it makes no sese to trade him now. We should have waited until a game where he hit a home run so teams would give us awesome prospects for him.

    But we also have enough available money that if Theo and Jed want one or both enough, they can afford to overpay, perhaps more so than the other suiters. Even if it was something like 8/80, while its a high risk it's not high enough that it would hurt us in the long run. 8/80 couldn't hurt us in the long run?

    I haven't heard a projection yet. My guess with his age and experience level, he would start at Peoria. But if he impresses at spring training (assuming he'll be there), he could go to Daytona, but I doubt it. Goldstein: If he's already done well in a league that's supposedly equivalent of high-A or AA, then that doesn't make sense. He's 18. There's no rush. Start him in High-A and go from there. I didn't say anything about rushing him, but saying he MIGHT start in low-A seems overly cautious. I'm not even saying low-A would be too low, just seems silly to imply that low-A would be a stretch.

    Did anybody see the SNL skit where they were doing a Spanish sports show and then pronounced names like Stan Van Gundy in a Milwaukee accent? I thought it was kind of funny.

    I took 4 years of Spanish in high school and I have no clue what you are talking about with regard to the pronunciation of Jose. http://www.forvo.com/word/jos%C3%A9/ The Spanish you learn in a midwestern Spanish class is going to sound markedly different from the Spanish you'll hear in most Spanish communities. I don't doubt that, but listening to native Spanish speakers at the link I provided, I would still say that "Ho-say" is the closest English phonetic representation. If the argument is simply that Spanish pronunciation can't be represented 100% accurately using English phonetics, then I guess I see where you are coming from. lol, [expletive] American.
