ESPN just took over the streaming services for PGA Tour Live. So, this has been available previously (last year was NBC Sports Gold and Amazon Prime) and still is as a subscription service. This is the first year I've subscribed and I love it. Additionally, once they get back to the mainland they're going to have 4 streams available on the PGA Tour Live stuff. Not just featured groups.

I guess the follow up would be what happens if the runner on third say joins his teammates at the mound celebrating before he touches home (assuming two outs)?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I was thinking about walk off walks today and was wondering about what, if anything, has to happen to make the game officially over. Does the batter have to touch first base? Does the runner on third have to touch home base? If the batter were to be mobbed by his teammates in celebration before he reaches first could he be considered to have been running outside the base paths and therefore out?

Big Ten on the road Also, I don't think many really believe Wisconsin is legit. Evidenced by Mike Tirico during Tuesday's win @ Indiana "Wisconsin still very much in this game, they lead by two." Largely, skepticism is fair. Really good front court with guard play that is still suspect/developing. Add into it, Wisconsin hasn't played Iowa well the last 2 years and I think it's fair. At least Gatens isn't there this year.

Any Iowa fans/residents hearing anything about Uthoff requesting release from Wisconsin? Seems to be some pretty strong rumors. It wouldn't make sense for him to go to another B1G school, but certainly would suck for Wisconsin. He and Dekker were going to be a really nice 3/4 combo for the next 4 years.

Does it make sense to put Frolik on the Toews/Kane line? It has worked for Stalberg and even going back to Brouwer to score goals and finish chances. In the extended pregame Murray went out of his way to praise Frolik for doing all the small things well. Edzo echoed that during the television broadcast. He's sound defensively so you dont have to worry about that. Just to get his confidence going seeing some pucks go in the net, could be huge when/if he gets back on the Bolland line, which is always a key line in the playoffs.

Annoyed to turn on the Badger game on ESPN3 only to find out @thekapman is doing the color for them! Video quality on ESPN3 is really good though. As for the Badgers, Brust is filling it up, though I worry that we do not have a low post presence on a consistent basis and we'll be chuckers.

+1 easily the worst coach in the B1G. The best was the graphic where of the 10 Div1 teams in IN, they had the only sub .500 record.

Well either Tokoto is unselfish to a fault or the talent around him/coaching at Menomonee Falls has to suck if he is that good and they are only .500

[expletive] Jordan Taylor. 34 of 60 now. 6 of 7 from downtown as well. Leuer in foul trouble and Taylor has just completely taken over this game. This will certainly help lessen the sting of losing Tokoto to UNC. I didnt really get my hopes up but your right. I really just wanted to put the walls around the borders. Especially with Koenig from 2013 now having a UNC offer too. The glimmer of hope for me is that some people are saying Dekker is less an athlete than Tokoto but a better basketball player

I dont get why he didn't call a TO at the end of regulation and then again in OT. There is also no way Leuer travelled at the end of regulation. Cant shoot like this against OSU Saturday.

Valuing each possession, being efficient and taking care of the ball is great. Being the slowest major-conference team in the country (and 340th of 347) are just annoying. When you have to do that because your short-handed or whatever I get it. Choosing to play that way is just odd. You can take care of the ball and value each possession without milking 29 seconds every time down the floor. You're an established program with the ability to grab talent. You can still do all of those things Bo wants to do while not being the most boring team on TV every year. Boring is in the eye of the beholder. Again, give me efficient offense with low turnovers to throwing the ball away and a few fast breaks. But the system is based on creating mismatches and getting the best shot available in a 35 second span. No one will get killed for attacking the basket and most (Leuer and Taylor esp) wont get killed for taking an open shot with 29 seconds LEFT on the shot clock. WI high school basketball hasn't been traditionally very good. We've had to do our work in MN when they were down (Leuer, Taylor, Bruiser, Berggren) and IA when they were down(Uthoff, Bohanon etc) and are only recently doing "ok" in IL. In the next few years it will be key for WI to get Dekker, Tokoto and Koenig to stay in state.

Ryan came into the Big Ten at the right time. The talent level hasn't been that great over the last decade. It appears the league is now back on the rise, so it will be interesting to see how his system holds up. And a Wisconsin fan bitching about non calls at the Kohl Center is comical. I know hilarious because Izzo says you breathe on us and we fall down so its true right?!?! I'm not saying anything about officiating, but you guys are overstating the Kohl thing as of late and as evidence we no longer make more FT's than our opponents attempt, like earlier in the century. The myth about the swing is that it holds players back, however its quite the opposite. Harris and Tucker both excelled and were never on a leash. Same too with Penny, Tayler, Leuer, Kam Taylor, Mike Flowers, Mike Wilkinson, Landry etc...Its been a great thing for ignorant basketball talking heads to say about our style of play because they dont feel like doing their actual jobs and watching games. That said, as long as ESPN keeps saying it, and the schools we recruit against keep saying it, it perpetuates itself into a believed reality. There is some legit top 50 HS talent in WI over the next 4 years, it will be interesting to see if we can close off our borders like the football team has.

I'm a UW alum, my frosh year was Bo's first year and it always is interesting to read and hear about how awful it is to watch us play. Probably just what we are raised on but I find it equally awful to watch almost the rest of the B1G play. I have come to dearly value the basketball and each possession. Most every other team will gladly trade a few kicked basketballs for some fast break points. I'll take a PG with a top a:to ratio and one of the most efficient offenses in the nation over all this "roll the ball out and recklessly run" systems everyone wants to play. I dont want to get into an argument because its just a stylistic thing. to each their own. Just what I've grown up rooting for (with Dick Bennett and now Bo) and what I've grown up rooting against.

I would have loved Lickliter ball if we won at the level Wisconsin has. But yeah now I'm back to absolutely hating slow-paced basketball. If I were a Badger fan I would be more upset with knowing that the Sweet 16 was about the top end I could expect. It would be a lot of fun leading up to March, especially if you're a season ticket holder but are they ever going to get over that hump? I think their "homecourt advantage" hurts them in that respect. You can't get breathed on for a foul in the tournament. Yeah, they were in the bonus with around 11 minutes left in the second half. I try not to bitch because everyone in the Big Ten gets a home court edge but when the Sconnies went into the bonus they had only two fouls against them. *sigh* The offensive foul call against PU made by Burr at the end of the game looked pretty iffy to me. Not nearly as offensive as that no call against Leuer late in the game, when he was mauled and they swallowed whistles.
