    NFL Week 8

They likely will only win 2-3 more games at most the rest of the year. Their remaining schedule is @SEA V. DET @CHI @GB V. CHI @STL @HOU V. GB

  3. I'd probably go Cobb as well. Green v. MIA, F. Jones v. NYG or Stephens-Howling v. SF for my FLEX? I'm thinking Jones
  4. That's it :D
  5. How is Polamalu the most liked?? He takes every chance he can to cheap shot guys when he is actually healthy enough to be on the field and his head and shoulder commercials are [expletive] awful.
  6. Have a game Sandoval
  7. Verlander shouldn't make it more than 5 innings. He's going to be at nearly 100 pitches entering the 5th. Down 5-0, no reason to have him pitch 120-130 pitches tonight.
  8. LOL, Zito! San Francisco loves him again
  9. I don't really think that's intended for hazing. I think their FO thinks it's an integral part of the player development process and conditioning their players.
  10. Pot brownies + Chicago style pizza will have him looking like CC Sabathia in no time. Big Time Timmy Jim probably could stand to gain some weight anyways
  11. The new market inefficiency is acquiring minor league players who are capable of perfroming navy seal drills and capable of running guantlets of diving coaches and sand.
  12. I think there is an option in one of the new NFL/NBA deals that either of the sides can opt out of it relatively soon into it, like 5 years. Or there are at least things that can be re-negotiated and not the entire thing can be opted out of. I want to say one of them definitely had a stipulation that revenue sharing percentages could be re-negotiated amongst the league/owners and players if certain reveune benchmarks are reached.
  13. That seems to happen far more during the week leading up to games that it does during games.
  14. Nah, shouldn't be a problem if they are just bruised. Worst case, he sits out a week against a 1-5 Carolina team at home. Doubt he sits since he was able to come back tonight. If anything they will give him that crazy body/rib armor they gave Vick last year or the year before when he was playing with broken rib(s) that basically was a bulletproof vest.
  15. wut He must have gone to DA Bums party that didn't have working cable
  16. Yeah it might have been. The Bears didn't play Miami in 2007 though so I'm not sure which game you're referring to. I don't remember there being rain in 2006 when Grossman got picked three times. The superbowl was in Miami that year, no?
  17. And even though Collins was hurt last year there was still hope he might be able to come back this year but the doctors didn't clear him during the pre-season.
  18. Oh come on. Aaron Rodgers. :-k
  19. If Kyle Lohse remembers he's Kyle Lohse and pitches like Kyle Lohse tomorrow and Matt Cain pitches like he can. You have to like the Giants chances.
  20. I think they might have sold some of their stock in Ameritrade to come up with some of the cash they used to purchase the team. But yeah you pretty much summed up everything with the current debt situation.
  21. I've always been a fan of Escobar the player (probably like him more than his stats should lead me to) and I think as a player he'd be a good option to bring in for 3B. But he is a complete doucher. I don't think they'd bring him in.
  22. Arizona also got Heath Bell, Cabrera is going to the Marlins
  23. Eh, if that's all it took we could have probably gotten him for like 1 of Valbuena/Watkins/Lake/Cardenas and 1 of Cabrera/Castillo/Dolis. I would have done that
  24. http://assets0.ordienetworks.com/images/GifGuide/michael_scott/Michael-What-the-office-10400786-400-226.gif That would be an awful move, Sutton is pure horse [expletive]
  25. One of the greatest moments in gambling history If such a book/website existed that listed the story of all the crazy late game covers/no covers in sports history I'd totally read it Chris Duhon's meaningless buzzer-beating 3 to cover in the Duke/UConn Final 4 game in 2004 would have to be the cover of that one. That was nuts. Almost had another crazy cover last weekend, if the Falcons would have recovered that fumble in the endzone when the Raiders kept throwing laterals backwards on the last kick of the game the Falcons would have covered.
