  1. Schaub and Flacco. Mostly because they both have home games.
  2. Pennant fever! I'm actually going tomorrow night because its dog day, and my fiance loves to take our dog to that game each year. There might be more people attending because of dog day than because of the game. I'd take my dog there just so it could take a [expletive] in The Cell
  3. I don't think the addition of Price at the expense of the subtraction of Castro makes us all that much better of a team. It's too bad some of the guys in the system (outside of Baez) are probably 1-2 years away from having serious value if things go as planned with them where we could have enough minor league guys to potentially pull this off without losing Castro/Rizzo. When is Price a FA?
  4. Agreed. The WR's don't seem be generating as much space as last year and a lot of balls that could go for big plays are either being dropped or Rodgers puts the ball in a spot where the receiver can't catch it in stride and has to jump/dive/contort his body to get to the ball and either has to fall when he catches it or drops it. Rodgers and the WR's definitely seem to not be quite clicking this year yet. The o-line has their holes too so Rodgers isn't getting as much time on some play, but as evident last night probably on half of the sacks Rodgers had enough time and there just wasn't anything there and held the ball too long. Also a lot of the blitzes last night the Seahawks were only sending 3 or 4 guys so they had 8-7 guys dropping back in coverage to some extent which means obviously it's going to be harder to find anything when you have 3-5 of your receivers being covered by 7-8 guys.
  5. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the balls used to kick have quite a bit more air in them/are newer and more slick. But it's mostly them being not used as much and slicker than "game balls"
  6. Can't do a 2012 draftee Think you can include one as a PTBNL Has to be resolved within 6 months, and it never happens because then you have your prospect sitting in another team's farm system, under their control for half the season. That's right. I though it was 10 months for some reason. Didn't Pomeranz have to just sit out a bit last year when the Indians traded him?

  11. He said they just lined up to try and draw the Titans offsides and he was going to take a TO and kick the FG, but there was miscommunication/the crowd was too loud and the ball was accidentally snapped. But yeah, they just should've sent the FG unit out right away.
  12. This is unbelievable
  13. Ed Reed is headhunting tonight. Yikes
  14. I want to say one of the guys on Grantland (Barnwell maybe) wrote an article last year about icing the kicker and I think the FG% was either negligible when comparing calling a TO/not calling a TO when a kicker was attempting a game winning kick or the made FG% was actually higher for kickers who were "iced" and got a TO called before a kick compared to not having a TO called before a kick. Either way, the study/article showed that calling a TO to "ice" a kicker didn't result in an increase in missed FG's.
  15. WTF Lions???
  16. What happened to Stafford?
  17. All turnovers and TD's are automatically reviewed this year
  18. Texans 3 of the following 4 for my 2 RB spots/Flex McFadden v. PIT Murray v. TB Spiller @ CLE Bush v. NYJ Think I'm going McFadden, Murray and Spiller
  19. Who knows. Maybe they give trophies now to division winners???
  20. That's the first time in a while we've heard the Baez off of SS thing again from a writer. It seemed as the season went on their was a growing optimism he might stay there. I wonder if Callis is still going off of old knowledge/scouting reports/perceptions or if something new has come up in the scouting/writing community on him?
  21. How or why? His BABIP is only .020 off his career average. The rest of his other numbers are all inline with his career numbers (LD, GB, FB, HR/FB percentages) are within 1% +/- . The only thing he's doing more than 1% better than his career numbers is walking about 4% more than usual 12.5 v. 8.6. He is what he is. An okay backup option whose gonna hit somewhere between .220-.250 have an OBP around .300 and SLG around .350.
  22. Omar Vizquel passed Babe Ruth today for all-time hits
