    Good article, though I don't think anything that most of us didn't know. Basically Castro had a solid year and improved in more areas than he stayed the same/declined at and most things point to him growing in a lot of offensive areas in the coming years and he didn't have a disaster of a season nor do things point to him being a potential disaster in the future.

    What would be the rules/restrictions on including Almora/Soler since both have been drafted/signed about 5ish months ago?? I agree make everyone available for both of them outside of Rizzo and Castro. If I had to guess I'd think Theo would be more willing to trade Baez over Almora/Soler since he was a holdover from the last regime.

    Swoon. Derek Johnson seems like the perfect hire for a guy like Bauer who loves the long toss. I just wonder if Baez alone would get it done. He wasn't ever realistically going to push Starlin off SS and we have other nice 3B options even if they aren't as good. I wonder how the D'Backs would value Garza and Barney. If they believe Barney can move to SS, maybe something like Baez, Garza, Barney, Jackson and a mid teenish prospect (Lake, Szczur, Torreyes, Candelario, Amaya, Ha, etc.) or two could get us both.

    I want to know what the context of the conversation was that lead him to discuss the FA market in 2015. Is one or both of the Cubs TV deals up then? Is that the year they are looking at creating some some sort of Cubs Network and/or signing a huge TV deal with a provider? Thus having major increased revenue to jump into the FA market that year?

    I'd go with Brown this week and see if this is a trend moving forward with Young or just some outlier games. Brown is a near lock for 6-10 fantasy points a week on yards alone.

    I really have no interest in Marcum, I'd rather we just bring Dempster back. I think both of them are roughly in the same boat when it comes to the market for them and both are about equally talented/have similar track records with Dempster being slighly better. But I bet they get similar deals.

    Good god. This is just a wreckless contract, I don't care how liquid the Dodgers are. It's blatant disregard for market value of a pitcher like League.

    That's intriguing, what's the rest of your roster like and leagues playoff set up?? If you go through week 16 for playoffs Ryan might be a bit risky if you have a serious chance to win as they will have that division well rapped up by then and he might be sitting out. I don't think I'd do it, Martin is a legit starting RB in fantasy and is going to continue to get almost all of TB carries and Rodgers looks like he's back into last years form without a healthy WR core (Nelson should be back after the bye week at the latest and Jennings around week 14-15) their run game is non-existant and Rodgers in going to have to throw a lot and they should be playing for the division/WC spot until the last weeks of the season and so the Packers won't have a chance to rest him during potential playoff weeks as they will need wins.
