  1. Castillo should take notes on how Pose received/framed that pitch, because he's [expletive] awful at doing that
  2. Golf rules are, on a whole, are so [expletive] stupid
  3. That's a tough one to come back from. With him talking about retiring after next year, have to wonder if he may be done.... And not that they had any sort of chance against the Thunder in round 1 (if they get in) but without Kobe they won't be able to stay within 20 of the Thunder.
  4. They sent a tweet correcting themselves. They did indeed mean McNutt hit 96. Well that's certainly good news. I hope he can be a bullpen contributor sometime this year
  5. Looks like Reyes just broke his ankle
  6. Agreed. And to bankrupt the rooftops so they can buy them out and either re-develop the area on Waveland/Sheffield or own the rooftops and continue running them as is.
  7. "Don't block our views, but feel free to remove an entire [expletive] sidewalk and lane of a road in our neighborhood!"
  8. http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/9162689/report-major-league-baseball-pays-biogenesis-documents
  9. Putting not quite there today for Tiger. Not that he's been bad, just hasn't been as good as he has been the last few tournaments. Missed a very makeable 6-8 footer on 15 for birdie just now.
  10. For the right amount of years, obviously, yes. But I'd have a hard time giving a long term contract to a dude pushing 300, whose shown he has a hard time (or simply doesn't care about) staying in shape. Eventually all that extra weight is going to take its toll.
  11. I'd rather give Watkins a chance and he'd likely get it over Bruno as he's already on the 40-man
  12. Tiger just dropped a nice F bomb right when the cameras went to him on 11. Tried hitting a cut shot, didn't cut. They put the mic on him to hear him laughing the he says outloud and clearly audible "how the [expletive] did it do that!?!"
  13. Wow, that's great. I've been to a few PGA events and PGA championships and they all are wildly overpriced. I think I paid $20 for a burger and water when it was up at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin 3-4 years ago.
  14. I would imagine they have cameras at the security gate. Should be able to check the license plate if he drove up and figure out who the vehicle belongs to. Also idk what's all on a USDA tag but maybe there is some identification they could pull off that to track it to somewhere/someone. http://www.prosportsdaily.com/articles/cubs-owner-tom-ricketts-receives-package-with-severed-goats-head-inside-243854.html
  15. Say what you want about Soriano and his performance and contract (though the latter really isn't his fault) but he really does seem to be a very hard worker, leader and genuinely interested in making sure our young players are taken care of and mentoring them.
  16. Hopefully it was one of the rooftop idiots and they can trace it back to them
  17. And then write it off You don't even know what a write-off is. But they do. And they're the ones writing it off! http://i.ytimg.com/vi/XEL65gywwHQ/0.jpg
  18. Huh http://deadspin.com/bizarre-metta-world-peace-interview-reveals-that-hes-f-472038096
  19. That, along with the draft being a heaping pile of [expletive] this year. He probably thinks his chances of getting drafted are as good as they are gonna be if he enters the draft this year. The talent difference between the guy taken in the mid-late teens and last overall isn't all that big this year.
  20. The Brewers have had Kolb, Turnbow, Cordero (he was known but awful in Texas when they got him), and now Axford come out of nowhere and become elite closers for somewhere between 1-2 years and then just crash and burn within the last decade.
  21. EDIT: I'll delete the weather info, as it was for yesterdays game
  22. Unrelated note: Today was day 2 of my seemingly sound "start free agent pitchers going against Houston" fantasy strategy. Oops. Something tells me if you stick to that strategy it still is going to pay off quite nicely for you
  23. He's bad, but he's not even close to Hawk bad
