According to weather.com there is a 0% chance of rain from now until 8 then just 30-40% chance of isolated/scattered storms through when the game would get done. So tonight doesn't looks like it's in much danger of getting canceled/PPD. Yeah the weather report looked a lot differently this morning, I think. Yeah I don't think the storm/rain took shape today like they thought. At worst we might get a little delay in the middle of the game but it doesn't look like anything too bad is going through tonight. Tomorrow, on the other hand, looks like we are in real danger of getting in. It's supposed to rain/storm all day and night with 2+ inches of rain projected. -

Jered Weaver went on the DL today, seeing as the Angels are trying to "win now" and have little SP depth and Pujols/Hamilton exiting their primes I wonder if they might have some interest in Wood. Again, too bad Garza is hurt as he might be a fit to go there. I know their system isn't rated high, but do they have anyone people like here? -

Yeah, I saw 6 hits and a 5-2 GO-FO so I would guess maybe a few of those hits were just softer ground balls that were hit in the right spot/guys with ML range would get to. Good to see that GO/FO ratio though -

I know it's extremely early and we've had some bad luck with blown leads, wind helping other teams and not us. But this team definitely is closer to a 65 win team than a 75 win team and I don't see it getting a whole lot better.

Castillo also does an awful job of framing/receiving pitches. He's always lunging/throwing his glove at the ball as it comes in.

Was he arguing? I wasn't watching super closely but thought he just forgot Braun was on 2B and asked for a new ball. He was arguing and he was asking for a new ball because he thought it was a dead ball and thought it hit Lucroy's bat that wasn't within 2 feet of where the ball was. He was showing the ball to the ump after he got it, presumably, to show him the scuff that didn't exist due to the ball not hitting the bat.

Aaron Miles is far better than Lillibridge. Even Cardinal-double-agent Miles of 2009 is better. I'd take Macias over Lillibridge

I don't think it is, the Brewers announcers always say the 2nd t (I live in Wisconsin and watch a good amount of their games). Whatever announcer was saying his name with the 2nd t silent is doing it wrogn.

Eh, you shift to where the guy is most likely to hit it when he makes good contact. Not where it goes when the ball hits a few inches above his hands.
