    I don't know if there is no hope of him not being a MLB player next year, I'd assume they will have him play in a winter league this year and if he has a decent spring and then a good few, healthy, first months in AAA I could see him up sometime around mid-summer/ASB.

    Is a shitty rule/policy that they have put in place pretty much just to make it "look like they care" about head injuries and concussions. The result is going to be shitty subjective calls all year that aren't consistent that will end in stupid fines and possible suspension.

    According to baseball reference he made $36.5 million in salary in his baseball career. So even after tax, comissions, etc. he should have netted somewhere around $18-22 million. What a degenerate, that's more than enough to ride off into the sunset and never be heard of again or get into a much safer industry to continue making money. Even if he would have taken $5-10 million of his total earnings and invested it safely/conservately he could have been making six figures a year on interest alone.

    He's getting Corey Patterson'ed up there, trying to much to make him into something he isn't and he's gone from a pretty useful player but not great to having Danny Murphy or whatever the [expletive] his name is outperforming him.

    This is the second time in like a week that someone has suggested finding ways to get Travis Wood more at bats, is this actually a real thing people think would be smart to do? His worth at the plate is all relative to the worth of his position where it's literally acceptable to hit .000 for the year and you aren't in danger of losing your job. Just because Travis Wood is a good hitting pitcher doesn't mean he's a good hitter (I understand 99% of the people on here know this).

    Do you go out to bars/friends places a lot to watch sporting events? I couldn't imagine watching sporting events in non HD anymore.

    I think it's more the hate for the situation when he didn't get hired to be the Cubs coach how ever many years ago after he had like 1 or 2 minor league season under his belt and him and all the meatheads got all pissy about him not getting the job.
