  1. I'm 3-2-2 in my money/keeper league, while I've had relative health (S. Jackson/Julio are my only two guys who've missed time) I'm thinking it's time for a fire sale myself. http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m5xqazpIlB1qcwyjso1_500.gif
  2. Where is "home" for Soler? Rogers obviously can't mean Cuba, can he?
  3. Not a big deal for me
  4. That's what I figured after it got to about 7:05. Don't get NBA TV and it would have been my first chance to watch some NBA this offseason, as a general fan I was looking forward to seeing how Rose looked and that Giannis guy the Bucks took in the first round that's had a pretty good preseason for a 18 yo who has faced marginal talent in his overseas leagues.
  5. Yeah what these guys mostly said, also Grantland usually has multiple daily articles/podcasts NBA related from various guys like Lowe, Simmons, etc. once the season starts (I guess even right now they are running multiple NBA related things daily leading up to the season).
  6. http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/193wxp0ekwqcsgif/original.gif
  7. Is the game not on WGN tonight? ESPN says it's supposed to be at 7, but it's not on and my guide is showing it's America's Funniest Home Videos
  8. Yeah he's already had a pseudo-breakout. In order for him to be considered a "breakout" guy for me, since I already consider him a solid top 100ish prospect, he'd have to OPS in the mid-high .900's and look like/get scouts to start saying he definitely could stick at 1B or somewhere else in the field (LF, probably is the only other place he'd have a remote chance).
  9. The league I'm in this year we have decided to change to a points system for standings next year to somewhat fix the problem of having a high scoring team/poor record and missing the playoffs. We are going to still do head to head, you get 1 point for a win and 1 point for being in the top 4 in scoring for the week (8 teams in the league) 4 teams with the most points make the playoffs.
  10. Colts think Reggie Wayne tore his ACL
  11. I'm going to tie for the second week in a row in the one money league I am in and it will take me to 3-2-2, in the other 3 leagues I did for fun/mock draft I'm 5-2, 6-1, and 7-0. [expletive]
  12. I'll play, send me the info
  13. Nice, but the hell is this outfit? I think just about every color of the rainbow is accounted for http://www.jargonscott.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/aflweekone-31.jpg
  14. Bradford apparently tore his ACL
  15. You have two options here. Either try and reserve the projector and hoard it yourself until the world series is over (if your local schools/municipality has a rental type program), or file a grievance that a "government employee" is taking something that we (tea party it up) pay for and are using it for their own personal enjoyment.
  16. Thanks for showing up Clemson
  17. I think I'd rather listen to a Hawk/Stone broadcast than McCarver, he's the [expletive] worst. My head hurts listening to him.
  18. Buchholz looks like Tom Brady's crack head brother
  19. The Dodgers reportedly offered Kershaw a contract that could have been worth $300m+ last offseason with incentives. Yeesh
  20. Assuming relative health and most of the players performing to expectations/averages on both teams I think the Bulls and Nets definitely finish within 10 games of each other and it's probably closer to 5.
  21. Brooklyn? Lol They potentially could be very, very good.
  22. I think this will depend greatly on (obviously) how well they start off, but more importantly, how well Castro and (potentially) Olt start off. If they play well, no need to rush the prospects or start their clock early. I don't think Castro's performance next year, either way, is going to be much of a factor in delaying/speeding up Javy's or Bryant's promotion to MLB. If they are performing well in AA/AAA and the FO feels they can handle MLB they will be up and find a spot for them somewhere. They aren't going to rush one or both of them because someone at the MLB level isn't doing well and call one/both up when they aren't ready and risk ruining on or both. If they are doing well and Castro is doing well there are enough potential open spots between 3B/2B/LF/RF that they will be able to get them in the lineup everyday if they feel one or both is ready.
  23. I'm assuming you are going off of BBR, because Fangraphs has Samardzija at 3 and 2.8 the last two years and Wacha at 1.1
  24. Are any of the Solar Sox games going to be televised? I thought MLBN aired a few games in past seasons
