  1. How would you have preferred the two way tie for the final WC spot to be resolved?
  2. trade him High character, good makeup, guy my ass
  3. I hope Nelson Cruz hits 3HR tonight
  4. Atlanta, though STL is tempting
  5. Has it been confirmed that Javy will have input in the hiring process of what will likely be his first MLB manager?
  6. Anyone from the Dodgers, Braves, Pirates, any AL non Red-Sox team is good for me.
  7. http://www.beneathmyheart.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/cousin-eddie-Bingo.jpg
  8. Any assistants on Maddon's staff that are intriguing?
  9. And we'd be looking at another 90+ loss team
  10. Yeah, with his development the Titans certainly seem like they could be a playoff team.
  11. Agreed, also Javy's defensive floor seems like 3B (Sano's Ceiling). While Sano's floor is either LF or 1B. Also if Soler doesn't break his leg it's almost a certainty we have 4 top 25 prospects.
  12. ??
  13. Brian Mccann should go [expletive] himself, what a god damn douche
  14. Is Billy Hamilton a positive/plus defender? Or at least has he been scouted to be one? I know his MLB ss is too small.
  15. undoubtedly http://karmajello.com/postcont/2013/09/tobias-fire.gif
  16. Wacha has a no hitter through 7 innings
  17. Cole has a 1.89ERA and 37K's in 33 innings over his last 5 starts. Good luck tonight, fellas!
  18. Isn't Jackson the guy Mcleod is enamored with?
  19. It's a better move anyway. Sveum's just doing God's work and trying to help the Pirates win the division. Swept by the Pirates, sweep the Cards, everyone goes home happy. And it makes Gregg look like a bigger douche for his temper tantrum last week
  20. This is impressive
  21. http://online.wsj.com/article/APd5992fc765844687a20eaf6b0ffc2c8c.html I like it, as long as they aren't those stupid [expletive] short sleeve jerseys
  22. Hanley Ramirez, because holy [expletive] has anyone seen what Hanley Ramirez has done this year? Yeah he's been unreal and playing like he use to. The .360+ BABIP doesn't hurt either.
  23. We don't need him to be that. A 1.000 OPS is rare in the current MLB climate and is basically a unattainable benchmark to set for him. If he settles into a .260-.270/.350-.370/.450-.550 player he will be more than useful and likely a top 10 offensive player at his position assuming this current offensive climate continues. That's all we need him to be.
  24. So this happened yesterday....
  25. I guess what he did in the playoffs is still fresh in my mind and not the regular season in which he was good but not great. I guess at his age 23 season this year I expect him to perform closer to what he did in the playoffs than what he did in the regular season last year. I understand the argument that he's more of a high teens/20's guy, I just expect him to take that jump this year he showed in the playoffs last year. Also the fact he can play SG, which is easily the shallowest position in the NBA is huge. Right now it's basically James Harden and James Harden at the 2 spot.
