  1. Mark Gonzales said he's listed as a reserve tonight, plus Alcantara is in Iowa's starting lineup. No DL yet it appears. Nice, have been looking on twitter for an update and didn't see anything. Must have missed it. Good news. Hopefully we can be back to a full strength lineup by next weekend (assuming Soler goes on a rehab assignment by early next week).
  2. Drop Freddie Freeman Add Yasiel Puig
  3. Any word on if Fowler needs DL time or just a few days?
  4. Looks like offense was fairly similar in the first half last year, only a little better this year. Are you using only qualified for 2015 or a different cutoff? Below are qualified guys in the first half last year. 2014 First Half: 1.000+ OPS: 2 .900-1.000 OPS: 12 .800-.899 OPS: 33 Overall above .800: 47 http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=y&type=1&season=2014&month=30&season1=2014&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=10,d&page=1_30
  5. Where would they move though? Is there another market that really makes that much more sense or would really support a team that much better?
  6. Byrant's HR vs Kershaw was the first HR off his curveball in 38 starts. Also in the span of a week or so both Bryant and Gallo have homered off of Kershaw
  7. Fowler would likely be out until after the ASG even if it's just an average ankle sprain. But I think the offense will be okay with a Coghlan/Szczur/Denorfia/Lake OF for the next 10ish days and then Coghlan/Denorfia LF/Szczur CF/Soler RF for the time up to the break.
  8. I mean cool, but how many teams even have 2 or more guys 23 or younger starting regularly?
  9. Fowler has a sprained left ankle per numerous guys on twitter
  10. That's probably the best non trade course of action. Russell at leadoff. Schwarber in LF, Szczur/Alcantara in CF and Coghlan in RF is my preference. Defense be damned
  11. Schwarber back up for LF and Szczur/Coghlan (can't get much worse than LF) to CF.
  12. That was a strike according to the pitch tracker and I'd imagine, even if you don't think it was, Kershaw is probably going to get that call 99% of the time.
  13. Good work getting Kershaw's PC up over the first 2 innings at least
  14. Draft is Thursday, figured I'd start a new thread for all things draft/offseason moves. Draft order is below. Looks like Towns-Okafor are going 1-2 in some order then it opens up from there. 2015 First-Round Order 1. Minnesota 2. L.A. Lakers 3. Philadelphia 4. New York 5. Orlando 6. Sacramento 7. Denver 8. Detroit 9. Charlotte 10. Miami 11. Indiana 12. Utah 13. Phoenix 14. Oklahoma City * * * 15. Atlanta (From Brooklyn) 16. Boston 17. Milwaukee 18. Houston (From New Orleans) 19. Washington 20. Toronto 21. Dallas 22. Chicago 23. Portland 24. Cleveland 25. Memphis 26. San Antonio 27. L.A. Lakers (From Houston) 28. Boston (From L.A. Clippers) 29. Brooklyn (From Atlanta) 30. Golden State 2015 Second-Round Draft Order 31. Minnesota 32. Houston (From New York) 33. Boston (From Philadelphia via Miami) 34. L.A. Lakers 35. Philadelphia (From Orlando) 36. Atlanta 60. Philadelphia (From Golden State via Indiana)
  15. I mean, sure? If like the best player it would require is Vogelbach
  16. That hop/bounce likely had very little to do with the actual greens and was probably caused by a ball mark not being replaced correctly. The greens sucked tho.
  17. If this one doesn't get it how many makeups does that put us at? 4?
  18. Brewers first round pick, Trent Clark, ran/fell into the CF wall tonight and was down for 15 min and left on a stretcher. Apparently a head/neck injury.
  19. http://www.reactiongifs.us/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/wrong_with_you_people_office_space.gif
  20. The only way he wouldn't be, I'd imagine, is if the scouts/writers think he's a LF only and can't stick at C or CF. Speaking of what is the thinking of his long-term future at either CF or C? I know the CF is new but have there been any reports on how he's looked in SSS?
  21. Watching BBTN since Law is on and wanted to see what he says about Schwarber and also if there's any update on Harper's injury, good god is Eric Wedge a [expletive] idiot
  22. Time to make up for that [expletive] throw last inning
  23. I can never spell Schlitter's name right but that's because I only end up using 4 letter words usually
