  1. Yeah, they also have 7 H2H left vs each other with ~30 left. They should be close to similar odds with Toronto have a slight edge. Maybe like 30% Baltimore and 40% Toronto or so.
  2. Ross made it sound like on his weekly Score interview today that Chatwood and Q are basically piggybacking this start. Fwiw. Said he wouldn’t bring Q in a dirty inning and he’ll get a clean one. Would be nice to see them cover 6-7 innings today with maybe Sadler or someone coming in between if Chatwood can’t finish an inning.
  3. They’re 6-4 (97 win pace) vs teams with a winning record. Almost 40% of the games so far.
  4. The Brewers suck, them handing the Reds some losses this week puts us in a spot to really widen the gap this weekend over the Reds and really not worry about them again. Lol Seriously you guys have been pushing this bs since 2017. And even if they are not as good as their record indicates, we look like total horsefeathers against their pitching (so chalk up several more Ws for them from that alone) and their pen locks down 1 run wins consistently. They are going to be a top 3 team in the division, not the Reds IMO. They sucked in 2017 and we won the division, they caught a heater in 2018 and weren’t as good as us then but they bested us in the 1 game elimination, last year both teams sucked. This year they are 11-15 and just got swept by the Pirates and their pen literally blew a lead late yesterday. They have the second worst RD in the NL. They suck. The Reds are the better team with the pitching, so I’m happy for the Brewers to help us out here. Plus with us facing the Reds this weekend it puts us in a spot to control putting them away to a degree. Whoever finishes 3rd in the division probably isn’t making the playoffs, IMO.

  6. He’s really only been a real elite hitter in 2018 until September and then a month or two last year. Saw some tweet the other day about it. He’s been shockingly average from a wRC+ standpoint outside of that period.
  7. Bryant if Theo offered him that deal: I’m highly skeptical he gets $200+ mil. The FA class is loaded and will suppress salaries alone on top of other shenanigans. Javy, KB, Rizzo, Freeman, Lindor, Seager, Correa, Story, Nola, Syndergaard, Conforto, Bauer if he does his 1 year deals, then some of the bigger recent guys have opt outs I believe (Bryce/Machado/Arenado, etc).
  8. Love the dude. Hell of a player. Can't stay healthy anymore. Even when he plays, he seems to be fighting off a nagging injury that has people talking about how it's impacting his game. I don't believe he's ever going to really be healthy again. I envision his body continuing to break down. Therefore, as tough as it is, I wouldn't even be interested in making him a "good" offer. I had those same thoughts but, he still young and its hard to think about the Cubs giving up on him. Yeah, I’d still give him a 6-8 year deal for 150-190 in a second and he should be the guy they extend out of any of outside of Rizzo (who really won’t cost much anyways).
  9. That’s a nice win to snake out. Now get out of the slump offense
  10. I mean he has to be done for the year basically. There’s ~30 games left and he’s going to need SB time. This sucks.
  11. 16-10 with a run differential of +3 Yeah, they suck. They’re the Brewers basically but have somehow sequenced some wins despite the underlying data saying they’re ass.
  12. There was probably nothing Ross could do to screw up the hot start, and there's definitely nothing he can do about how bad these guys suck right now Bringing in your best reliever after giving the make a wish kid an AB in a 1 run game is not smart. Either try and win or fold. Phegley has no business taking that AB and if he does you’re giving up and then you shouldn’t go to your best RP. He’s been bad. Also trying to get multiple innings out of these 1 inning RPs has been dumb too.
  13. This team sucks and Ross is making really dumb moves
  14. I was just coming to post this exact thing. His splits neutral 90+ vs LHP and RHP and does the contact thing 80%+, I’d prefer him to Hernan.
  15. They either just completely suck or a bunch of guys and situational stats are due for some positive regression.
  16. Yeah I’d be intrigued if they think the pitch mix change is a real thing. Also Strasburg is done for the year and the Nats are 9-13. Any of Howie, Eaton or Asdrubal would be nice offense targets. Tanner Rainey as a RP target from them too.
  17. I’ll take a division championship and 3 wins from a WS/NLCS appearance over throw away prospects who were buried here every time over prospect hoarding.
  18. Yeah I’ve always liked Pivetta. Wish we could’ve gotten him for cheap and sent him to the lab and maybe turn him in to a useful pitcher of some kind.
  19. ptr is salivating at the thought of never having to extend anybody ever again Javy should be like 5th on the list right now. KB, Rizzo, Happ, and Willy all should be ahead
