    RHB are like .290/.360/.580 vs Osich for his career. It’s a 2 run game and 4 of the first 5 batters were RHB. Now he goes to Wick, good job Ross.

    2016 and 2017 they put it away, 2018 they failed but still won 95 games and last year were just bad and never even had a chance. Weird narrative but there’s also a recency and frustration bias. Also willing to see how a 2 run game in the 4th with Wrigley playing like coors plays out before declaring this a loss and the division given away. And I guess with the current set up just finish top 2 and maybe we catch a heater with Yu/Hendricks and 2-3 of the bats. And really other than the Dodgers everyone else in the NL seems pretty even.

    They should call Abbott or Steele up and start bullpenning Mills starts. Mills is fine for 1 time through the order, try and cover 5-6 innings with Mills and a combo of 1 of those guys and Rea/Underwood.

    Nash seems like a really intelligent and thoughtful guy the few podcasts I’ve heard him on post playing (mostly Simmons). Reminds me a lot of Kerr from a personality, thoughtfulness, outlook on things, etc standpoint from when Kerr use to go on there (or guess still even does). Also was coached under D’antoni and Kerr was in the FO or staff there for a while so implementing a modern space and pace offense should be easy for him. Also guessing they think he has as good of chance as any as a HOF/MVP PG to try and keep Kyrie from being a complete lunatic.

    They’re in the middle of like 15 games in 14 days. It sounded like a scheduled day off and nothing more to ease him back and I’m guessing they want him in every game vs the cardinals this weekend. He also has bad numbers vs Musgrove. still, we're in a 60 game sprint of a season and he constantly needs days off for a million different reasons We’re gonna make the playoffs and we’ve seen what’s happened with him when he tries to play through things. He either sucks or has to be IL’d again. Making sure he’s managed the final ~25 games so he’s as close to 100% for the playoffs is the complete right move. Especially because they actually kinda have depth now.
