and it's a real hoot we're not even slightly perturbed we frivolously gave away a top-5 prospect but i don't think we'll be top-5 farm anytime soon; there's not a ton of depth there which actually should be how we (big-market club) prefer it: quality over quantity Eloy, Happ and Cease all could/should be within the top 15-20 prospects in MLB by the ASB. Eloy is already top 10. I think we actually are quite deep, those 3 guys are the quality but the quantity isn't lacking. I'm not a huge prospect follower but off the top of my head all of Jemier (obviously), Zagunis, Caritini, Hatch, Clifton, Williams, Pierce Johnson, Underwood, Zastryzny, and Mills all look like major league contributors in the very near future in some capacity (I'm sure I'm forgetting guys, especially pitchers). But then there's also Paredes, who could become a huge riser and also a lot of intriguing lower level/young pitchers that could take leaps (can't get overly specific here because I don't know enough about them but have seen it mentioned here), along with draft picks this year.
