  1. Lol. I think it was them or original petco (now fixed) that literally forgot to design bullpens in when they were built so had to make shift it.
  2. Yeah if he/the roster stays relatively healthy and productive I bet he gets 135-145 starts. Also, even though it's early I bet most games around off days he sits out at least one of them.
  3. And up Cespedes HR total to 300 on the year
  4. All we can really take away from this is Willson is probably the best catcher in baseball. And he fell to us out of the clouds. #PraiseTheo (probably should really be McLeod but let's keep his ego down so his stays around longer than he should). What :-s !?! Why should we praise McLeod for the success of W. Contreras? We didn't draft W. Contreras and this new Cubs regime under Theo & Jed didn't even sign him as an Int. Free Agent. As strange as it sounds, we should be thanking J. Hendry (or at least the scout under J. Hendry that recommended signing him). Realistically, most of the credit goes to W. Contreras for transforming from a non-prospect to a first-division C and possible All-Star selection. I guess... Thank who you want about getting him here, but the current FO identified him as a middling infield prospect who could maybe be a catcher and now here we are.
  5. Could be our 20 run game we've been promised for over a year now

  7. He's already 26, why not just ride it out? It's not like they locked him for more prime years than they already had. It seems like even if he would hit his top end projections they are saving maybe a few million if they would've have just gone to arbitration with him
  8. Alright you jerk, idiots. Score some horsefeathering runs and win
  9. I thought that for both his and Dexter's HR. Davis just seemed like he had a bead on both and sold it well. Then reality, and gravity, checked in and he realized he had the standing jump of a small, small man
  10. If MLB is going to run those commercials like the Bryzzo ones last year, OMG. Be prepared to embrace the hate. Think Joe needs to trademark that now #EmbraceTheHate. We are about to go full heel and it's going to be delicious
  11. I doubt they do that, but from a gambling standpoint I kinda like the Phillies over for wins this year. Their pitching depth should keep them relevant
  12. I thought Garrett Richards was healthy, why isn't he starting for the Angels?
  13. Not nearly as preposterous but still wild is that the Bulls are now 27-25 vs LeBron's teams since The Decision, which I believe includes the playoff series LeBron has won in that time frame. I think I saw on SportsCenter last night Lebron has a .360 or 380 something win % in Chicago for his career.
  14. Yeah I watched a game earlier this week his stuff looks mostly fine (velocity and movement), I've seen his breaking ball work better before but still had movement. He just can't locate anything in the zone. He's either missing badly with balls or when he does throw a strike it's in the hitters wheelhouse.
  15. Russell should win the Gold Glove this year
  16. The Thursday Night, TNT, Bulls is maybe the most preposterous streak in sports history
  17. Thornburg also having shoulder issues, I believe, for the Red Sox. Brewers have known when to get rid of relief pitchers the last 2 years.
  18. We are going to score a billion runs this year, half will be off the Reds
