  1. I'm not really sure what the point of this article is other than to get people to talk about Jeff Passan, but no, hopefully we never get there any day. It's a stupid article. These guys aren't WWE performers. PEDs or whatever you want to call them have no place in sports and are harmful to the body. I'm not going to act like I'm overly educated on the subject, but I'd like to believe there's things that are banned that if taken under the proper supervision could help players and not harm them any more than not banned substances. Or at least be researched more to take off of banned lists. Especially for recovery from injury or maintaining strength, etc. to avoid injury.
  2. Score some runs and win this horsefeathering thing now you jerks
  3. Monty has been sub-optimal so far this year
  4. Zobrist's bat has looked dead lately. I remember a similar stretch(es) last year early on when it seemed like the ball was going nowhere off his bat.
  5. We are going to be fine and still win 95+ games. This recent stretch has just been super annoying
  6. I wonder if the MLB offices computers still run on Windows 98, because that's the equivalent of still letting humans call balls and strikes
  7. First time all year Babe Shaw and Barry Thames have been retired back to back I have to imagine
  8. Holy horsefeathers that 2-1 pitch to Almora. Hendricks would have a perfect game going if that spot was a strike all game
  9. Why didn't Monty or someone from AAA get a spot start then? With how much they are tying to manage pitcher rest/innings, that would seem to make sense. I don't think the dead arm thing is a rest issue. You just pitch through it until it goes away. I'm fact, might be a result of the way they've managed them since most pitchers seem to go through it in spring training Fair enough
  10. Brewers are slapping oppo dongs all over our faces and Rizzo and Bryant can't even get it out of the infield vs Tommy freakin' Milone. Baseball can be so dumb
  11. Why didn't Monty or someone from AAA get a spot start then? With how much they are tying to manage pitcher rest/innings, that would seem to make sense.
  12. What the hell, Hendricks. Walking the pitcher on 4 straight pitches!?!
  13. That pitch location looked similar #RobotUmps
  14. Home Plate umpires are the lowest levels of referee scum in sports. Keep it up ya jabronies, you are gonna be replaced by computers soon enough.
  15. According to the Cubs K Zone Twitter thing 2 of those pitches are called strikes between 60-70% of the time
  16. I assume the MVP and Triple Crown awards will just be re-named "The Thames" this offseason
  17. I mean we are going to still win this game facing whatever a Tommy Milone is but this is annoying
  18. That's the type of thing if Castro or Aramis did that a few years ago there'd be multiple columns and hours of sports talk radio about lack of hustle in the coming days
  19. At least Shaw sucks at 3B and his defense has helped us this series
  20. It always seems the Brewers find scrub 3B that inexplicably mash, especially against us, early in the year then they realize they suck and turn into .600 or less OPS players by June/July and aren't even in the league within a few years.
  21. Travis Shaw horsefeathering sucks. It shouldn't be that hard not to make him Babe Ruth vs us this year so far
