  1. After some thorough due diligence they must not have been able to find any relatives to make Anderson go on the bereavement list. [tweet] [/tweet]
  2. Harvey is having his start skipped today and suspended 3 games for some sort of team conduct rule breaking.
  3. According to Yankees broadcast, yes. Way down. Back to 84-85. I have a question some one here might be able to help me with. Where do the TV broadcasts get velo readings from? Are they using the Statcast data? If so, that would explain Kyle being back "down," since I am near certain Wrigley's Trackman isn't calibrated properly. I'm fairly certain they use Statcast and don't have their own guns, I think it saw that somewhere on here or twitter.
  4. Oppo dong! Way to slap it in these dong imposter's faces KB.
  5. Another scoreless first! I don't know what to do with my hands. Now pound these fraud dong imposters.
  6. "Carl's performances are going to be a lot more scrutinized now that he's being held accountable by more dead relatives." - Bob Costas
  7. The haters and losers out there, of which there are many, can't seem to handle NSBB Twitter. V Sad!
  8. Len said on the broadcast yesterday that Rizzo was planning a different song today for his walk up music for Starlin
  9. he can have that and maybe one of those little plastic replica trophies they handed out as a giveaway Also if he finds any pieces of the actual World Series Trophy laying around from Theo's drunken escapades he can keep it.
  10. I'm interested to see where Severino is on Sunday. I think he's the fastest throwing guy to make a start in Wrigley this year, off the top of my head, who we will get to track for multiple innings (avg 97 MPH on his FB this year, topped out at 100 and hasn't been below 93.9). He's been between 96.5 and 97.5 MPH every start this year on his average FB velo.
  11. I said Duensing more as a question as who would be moved to make a move, not saying I want him to go. Just he probably makes the most sense. What peripherals, as a 32 year old, are worth getting excited about in his 8 innings of work this year? I'm not seeing much.
  12. A ton of rain all day, cold, flooding everywhere with multiple road closures, and to top it off they moved the game to a night game instead of a day game. I'll give them a pass on attendance tonight. I did not know that
  13. Fowler and Piscotty both left the game tonight with injuries. Piscotty did something to his hamstring running to 1B and Dexter hurt his shoulder diving for a ball
  14. Watching the Brewers at Cardinals game, there's nobody at this game. The actual attendance can't be much more than 10,000.
  15. Anyone in AAA worth calling up this weekend to freshen up the pen/make sure guys aren't getting over worked? Maybe DFA Dunsing to make room?
  16. Kinda surprised Heyward isn't pinch running for Zobrist
