  1. Well Len just mentioned that we started the year for the first time in 23 years without anyone on the DL so of course Soto and Theriot have to go out and get hurt after he says it.
  2. If it was that important for Lou to steal there why not pinch run Gathright and let Miles stay in and play SS? At least Gathright is actually like, you know a base stealer.
  3. Damn't Lou we had Latroy on the ropes and because we had Theriot running twice we forced ourselves into outs
  4. Theriot with a solid rip, come on Lee let's see some GAP POWER!!!
  5. FONZIE!!! Letroy getting his Cubbie mojo back
  6. He'll go 1-2-3 don't worry awesome Miles, just awesome
  7. Nice outing by Guzman. I could see Lou letting Miles or even Gathright lead off here...
  8. I have Tim Lincecum, Francisco Liriano, and Aaron Cook on one of my teams. :( They'll not suck forever, though. Well, Cook might Lee could do considerably worse than last year. Not that he won't at least be average, but I doubt he wins 22 and posts a sub 3 era this year. I would think something more like 15 wins and a 3.4-3.8 era is more likely.
  9. Great throw by Hill and a nice pick/tag by Theriot
  10. We were like 20 games above .500 last year against lefties. Sweet play Theriot
  11. Ugh Why? He did get hit by that pitch, but I don't think he got hit by anything catching or got hurt running the bases. Flu or something maybe?
  12. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
  13. Donnie Veal is in the game pitching for the Pirates, if anyone cares.
  14. Those last two pitches were real close to both being ball 4. That ball wasn't hit that hard I think that is a GIDP whether the runners are moving or not.
  15. Alright Lee, would be a nice time for Bradley's first hit here
  16. Because they face Jeff Suppan, McClung, Dave Bush and Jorge Julio
  17. yeah but I think he was battling thumb/hand problems for a good chunk of the year Was it Berkman that had that sick 19-25 stretch at one point last year? I think it was either him or Chipper
  18. yeah but I think he was battling thumb/hand problems for a good chunk of the year
  19. Assuming you're kidding, but still ... who would want a guy that throws the team under the bus for his own personal interests? The Dodgers?
