I know I/most hated last year when Lou would put Marmol out there in meaningless games, but I wouldn't mind to see him out there tonight to try to figure his sht out.

Yeah his first start in MIL. I was thinking it was only a matter of time until he started getting hammered. He wasn't throwing a lot of strikes and he seemed to be giving up a lot of hard hit balls but they were just at guys. But since then he has looked legit, getting ahead, low number of BB, etc. He kind of reminds of Clement when he was here and effective.

Yep, the people who judge those awards think wins are a relevant statistic to judge a pitcher upon. Exactly, and if they look at Well's underlying stats he is exhibit A on why W's mean very little when it comes to pitchers actual talent/stuff/ability/effectiveness. But ESPN and BBTN are always talking about W's being so important, so it must be true.

Soriano at least needs the next 3 games off. Play a combination of Fox, Hoff, Reed, Kosuke and Bradley (if healthy) in the OF.

If Lou was serious about Fox in RF, tonight is probably the night. Dempster doesn't give up a high amount of FB's and with a lefty pitcher (maybe even a guy Fox has seen in the minors) it makes the most sense tonight to start Fox in RF than it ever will. It wouldn't be a bad idea to start him in LF for Soriano either and get him a break. Fox in LF, Johnson in CF, and Kosuke in RF would probably be my preferred OF tonight.

The last 3 times the Cubs have been on MLBN I haven't gotten them. It says in the guide they will be on and instead others games have been on.
