  1. I had Ronnie Brown on my bench! Hahahaha ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)
  2. Texans/Ravens game is now postponed -- so you can't start anyone from either of those two teams.
  3. Peterson and LJ (but only because he goes against a pathetic Oakland team). I would agree that starting the 3 RBs and Edwards is the way to go, but as bad as Cincy looked last week I'd still lean towards starting Ocho Cinco ahead of Bowe. Can't really go wrong with the first 3 -- I'd probably only ever consider dropping one for Forte if its a really favorable match up (like Bears/Lions). And Selvin Young is worthlessly unpredictable thanks to Shanahan. You're guaranteed to not start him the week he goes off, and guaranteed Hall or Pittman vulture carries/goal line the weeks you do start him.
  4. What I've been reading is that it will be at worst a 60/40 split with LDW, possibly even 50-50. Who knows if that ends up happening though....
  5. Trying to decide on my RB2 and flex (RB/WR) -- I've narrowed it down to these options: RB Kevin Smith (@ ATL) RB Chris Johnson (vs. JAX) RB Maurice Morris (@ BUF) WR Devin Hester (@ IND) -- In addition to standard WR pts, we also get 1 pt / 25 ret yds and ret TDs are also 6 pts I'm leaning toward Smith/Johnson -- which 2 would you start?
  6. Puff, puff..... I say go with Ricky man. The Bears D will shock the world! ... puff, puff.
  7. Jamal Lewis. Looks like Ray Rice will be starting instead of McGahee -- so no telling how many touches he gets (if any) in that game.
  8. Frank Gore is great. I was fortunate enough to get him with the 12th pick in a 14 team league. I believe he ends up a top 5 fantasy RB for the year.
  9. Maroney -- Pats will likely be up big quick and then start running the ball a ton. KC blows and LJ will suffer for it.
  10. The Bears offense has a ton of upside...... ......which is easy to have when you're sitting at the absolute bottom.
  11. Per Ken Rosenthal: Given that, would you do a Marshall for Fuentes swap? It seems like Marshall in the pen for us is a bit of a waste (unless they keep him as a tag team with Harden). Having a shutdown lefty like Fuentes may be in the better short-term win-now interests of the club.
  12. Didn't it just alternate between AL/NL every year?
  13. Good move -- I'm happy to have Kevin Jones inked.
  14. No -- the blog entry was pulled for some reason.....
  15. If the reported interest in Greene is true, I wonder if the Cubs would just be getting him to include as part of a deal with Toronto for Burnett. Otherwise, it would seem like he'd be a relatively expensive option for a backup SS.
  16. I love Pat and Ron. I just turned the game on in time to catch it -- that made my work day!
  17. Can we send Marquis to Canada as part of a Burnett deal? If so, let's do this yesterday!
  18. Its been forever (Milt Pappas, 1972) since a Cubs starting pitcher tossed a no-hitter (not counting the robberies that happened to Woody and Z).... So who does everyone think will finally end this drought? I've listed everyone that has started so far for the Cubs (in order of # of games started) and included an other section if people think a current prospect or acquired starter is more likely. I am betting Z runs away with this, but I suspect that when it finally happens it'll be someone crappy like Marquis.
  19. I love Murton, but he's not doing anything to help his cause. Too bad -- I really wanted him to succeed.
  20. Why wouldn't Lou pinch hit for EPatt with a righty here?
  21. Happy Rose Day! :D (Now don't eff this up Pax!)
  22. Ronny Cedeno has turned back into a useless pile of horse dung. WTF happened to the great approach he had earlier in the year?!
  23. Why, because he's only 3rd all time in career HRs for switch hitters (behind only Mickey Mantle and Eddie Murray)? IMO, he will easily get elected to the HOF.
