  1. This guy totally stinks. We should see what we can get in a package deal with him and that so not clutch Bryant kid.
  2. What do you mean by support? Like if I went to a white sox game and they were playing some random team and I cheered along with the home crowd and clapped for non-Frank Thomas efforts, was that bad? I am a Cubs fan and a Baseball fan. I can enjoy a game in another team's park where the Cubs aren't playing. Most of the time, I don't really care which team wins though unless it impacts the Cubs in some way. I did go to Mariners game versus the Tigers and did root for the Mariners during the game because of relatives being fans. I can't say I could do the same for the Cardinals or White Sox though. I just wouldn't be able to bring myself to do it.
  3. I can get behind being a fan of a particular player such as Frank Thomas because he really was great, but to actually support other teams :barf: There are other teams I can watch and root for, but I would never support them over the Cubs. I have family in the Pacific Northwest and went to a Mariners game this year. I took the opportunity to thank every fan I could for Mike Montgomery
  4. What a weird thing to say after his game yesterday. Last 30 days he has managed .267/.368/.560 albeit with 24K.
  5. horsefeathers him; he's been tolerable at best the whole time they had him. Launch him into the lake. In fairness, his 2015 was fairly good, way more than tolerable.
  6. He is transforming into the Dunn-bot. I know last night they hit but Happ, Schwarber and Heyward at bats make me sad. Ian Happ has an .847 OPS. ...And he is all of 23 years old.
  7. I am also glad to stop hearing about how they could be one of the greatest teams of all time.
  8. So according to Brewers fans the Cubs did it wrong by planning a 5-6 year window? We should have planned a 10 year window like they are? I hated losing Torres, but hey we won a World Series so I don't care if it cost us our best prospect. Sometimes you have to go for it. Losing minor league players when there isn't a roster spot, to improve the MLB team, is how you get it done. Especially when we can field the same position players for the next 3-4 years. Grabbing a 4.5 WAR pitcher for multiple seasons also seems like a no brainer. The Brewers fans also seem to forget we have a lot more money to play with than they do.
  9. Counsel seems like such a good guy to play for, he sure does give his bullpen plenty of appearances every game
  10. November 2nd was 38 weeks ago. Children are commonly born 2 weeks within the normal due date. Average is that children are born at 38 weeks and 2 days.
  11. Their fanbase would eat them alive, although Baez probably looked pretty amazing to them in the NLDS.
  12. And who even cares, They won. Baseball is full of dumb decisions and they end up working.
  13. Yes Lackey, it is everyone else's fault and not yours.
