  1. NLCS 3 years in a row with a WS win. Never thought I'd see this level of success as a Cubs fan. We still have plenty of more chances the next few years.
  2. Ian Happ as a righty .276/.313/.476 why Zobrist?
  3. Win another and at least make this series interesting. Bonus if you can make Justin Turner look bad.
  4. They praise Taylor as a SS but then make excuses for him
  5. Harper commercial getting more air time then he did
  6. I'm going to watch to see Jake one last time. If we're down when he gets pulled, it will probably be close enough to bed time to turn it off.
  7. Can't because he fell down a well and no one has seen him.
  8. They whine about anything on the edge maybe we should too
  9. Everybody might as well upper cut anything in the zone
  10. Javy was basically a 2nd free out at the bottom of the line up but I'm not Heyward is ant better
  11. The Reds and 9 other teams are financially worse than the White Sox in both revenue and profit.
  12. Assuming the expansion teams and new schedule didn't really impact the playoff picture(unlikely but we work with what we've got), here's how the playoffs would have looked like during this Cubs run. 2015: Wild Cards: Cubs v. San Francisco, Kansas City v. Angels, Toronto v. Houston, Texas v. Yankees Division winners: Pittsburgh, Mets, St. Louis, Dodgers 2016: Wild Cards: Texas v. St. Louis/Seattle, Boston v. Detroit, Toronto v. San Francisco, Baltimore v. Mets Division winners: Washington, Cleveland, Cubs, Dodgers 2017: Wild Cards: Red Sox v. St. Louis, Arizona v. Minnesota, Cubs v. Milwaukee, Yankees v. Colorado Division winners: Washington, Cleveland, Houston, Dodgers Yeah the Cardinals are one of the teams I see stumbling their way to the playoffs every year.
  13. Can't say I like that playoff format. Only 4 divisional winners instead of the current 6. It seems like you would see the same teams in the playoffs just about every year. Multiple teams could win 95+ games and end up being eliminated in a 1 game wildcard playoff.
  14. Wow 17 pitches for Jansen we really worked him
