    It looks like I can take Tinley Park to LaSalle and pick up the Red Line at Harold Washington. It's been years since I was last in Chicago. Anyone know if the times will work for leaving Wrigley that night? Am I looking at spending the middle of the night at Wrigley or taking a taxi back? I've got a room booked near the Rosemont blue line stop. Those run past 3 am so I'm not worried about getting out that way late. Hotels are relatively cheap around there as well. Rosemont looks very doable. Now I have to decide on Game 4 or Game 5. Lackey probably for game 4 and Lester for 5.

    I am seriously looking at bleacher seats x2 for Game 5. Looking to stay in Tinley Park and take the Metra up. Hotels down there are $80-$90 a night. Any thoughts? I can go hang out at Wrigley for Game 4.

    I was secretly hoping for a Monty/Z-man/Wood bullpen day combo for Lackey's start, but there's a reason they are paying Maddon and not me. Plus it would hurt our bullpen for those spot lefty needs during the series. Maybe I'm just losing my mind but I almost wouldn't mind that combo starting game 7 if necessary. Heck throw Lester in there for an inning or two if needed. I sadly just do not trust Jake at this point with all those lefties in a game that might require 0 margin for error. I considered it too, or even start Jake but let him work 2-3 innings. It mostly seems that when he gets in trouble it is the 2nd time through the lineup.

    I was actually thinking similarly during the Game 3 loss, but I was like "thank god we have theo and he's smart enough not to overreact to how bad we've looked against two lefties." The thing I've thought is "Man, I wish we had more than 1 lefty starter" against the Dodgers, but I'm assuming Montgomery is gonna get a good chance at starting for us next year so that would solve that I was secretly hoping for a Monty/Z-man/Wood bullpen day combo for Lackey's start, but there's a reason they are paying Maddon and not me. Plus it would hurt our bullpen for those spot lefty needs during the series.

I was referring to my own previous comment about the Dodgers being so bad against lefties. We mashed lefties pretty good this year.

    If you recall Hendry said we needed to get more left-handed when we lost to the Dodgers in 09. Just loving the possible irony of it.

    It would amuse me to no end if we end up winning this series and the Dodgers decide they need to get more "right-handed" in the off-season.
