    Do you honestly feel that we should have paid 13 million or more per year for Furcal? I understand we havent won in forever and we have a huge payroll but we would definitely regret that signing in the future. I hope Hendry can land a big impact RF and I have faith that he will. If he doesn't then you can cry, but dont blame Hendry for not grossly overpaying for Furcal. Agreed. I may bash hendry (see sig), but I'm not going to give him crap for not signing furcal at >$13/year or $55/5+

Not signing Furcal doesn't = stopgaps everywhere, that's a strawman argument itself for crying out loud. Trade for Bradley, get an Abreu, Wilkerson, Dunn, Gomes, etc., and maybe let Cedeno play SS. No one is fabricating a position that you or hendry has taken, therefore there are no straw men here.

    Ronny is murding the pitching in Venzeula this Winter. I'd say he is going to be able to fill SS if need be. For the record, he's hitting .357/.396/.429 in 98 at-bats in Venezuela. All batting average, sadly. Come on Ronny, more patience, more power. Oh, as long as he can hit .320 in the majors we'll be fine .320 is a lot to ask. 2 people responded to this and both thought I was serious? heh

    What a pathetic 6 minutes to close out the first half. Capped by an aired 3 attempt at the end of the half that left 4 seconds on the clock and almost led to detroit taking the lead
