    I've never been as convinced that the cubs will sign a significant free agent as I am with furcal. This sort of thing just doesn't interest me this offseason, I'm just convinced that hendry will win the bidding war at all costs.

Just because it was written about doesn't mean he wasn't interested. Hendry could have called Giles and Giles could have simply said, "Hey, I appreciate the offer but I'm not interested in moving to Chicago." Because we were watching carefully. If he had shown it, we would have seen it. I really don't think you know everything Hendry does, or hear everything Hendry heres, or are privy to all the knowledge of ongoings that Hendry is. Maybe you are poster with real connections, but otherwise you really don't know unless Hendry makes it obvious. "show" is 4 letters long. 1 syllable. It's one of the first few hundred words most english speakers learn. Why don't you understand it?

    Premium has that feature. Probably my favorite one too. Inside of a thread? How do you use it? Just click the orange note next to the thread title. non-premium kind of has that feature, but it takes you to the most recent post at the beginning of your session. Wow....I did not know that. :lol: oh, and for those of us who wind up using both premium and non-premium with firefox (no idea if anyone but me does that): it won't work with both. while it works fine on premium, non-premium will send me to the same post every time.

    I agree, but I will say that swapping him for Bradley is probably one of the few Walker trades I could live with. I'd love to have Bradley in CF next year, and if that's who Hendry gets for Walker so be it. I share some poster's hope that Bradley wouldn't cost quite so much, and that Hendry wasn't so intent to get rid of Walker. But given the fact that Hendry now views defense the way he viewed team chemistry last year, a Walker for Bradley swap seems to be about the best outcome we could hope for. Seconded. I was expecting less.
