    So Peralta stole second. On the field the umpire called him safe saying the fielder never tagged him. Replays were really difficult to say for sure if the tagged him. Definitely nothing conclusive (unless they have some angle that the TV crews did not have). So of course they overturned it. I have no grasp on what is going to get called in replays.

    ESPN decided to pickup the Yankees/Mets game on 9/20. Cubs host the Cardinals that day and were one of the possible choices. I'm betting this means the Cubs/Pirates game on 9/27 will be the ESPN game. The other choices are Orioles @ Red Sox and Mariners @ Angels.

    It's going to be annoying when we're up 3-0 in the World Series and everybody wants to talk about how it's Halloween and the Cubs are cursed.
