    I'm not saying you're wrong at all, but I don't think you can say for sure Javy isn't starting on Opening Day which then removes a lot of your cross outs. I think you can rule out the possible best defensive IF starting in the OF, given he has only played there a couple innings this year with 3 guys on the DL. And I think the star player, Bryant, stays at 3rd unless he completely gives up the position. You are probably right, but before Dexter was re-signed they were toying with Javy in CF. The same reason you think they won't move Bryant off of 3B is why Javy may play OF even though he may be the best IF on the team.

    Yeah. Because he swings at pitches out of the zone. his isoD is about 100 he swings and misses at strikes in fact he's swinging at balls (out of the zone) at the lowest rate of his career (and at a below league average rate). did you completely make that up? No, but I listened to a segment on his woes by Harold Reynolds, so I probably would have been better just making it up.

    I'm not very confident I could correctly pick the position of even 5 of our starters for Openign Day 2017 assuming everyone is healthy. Rizzo 1B Zobrist 2B (probably) Russell SS C Montero, Schwarber, Contreras 3B Bryant, Baez LF Schwarber, Soler, Bryant, Baez CF Heyward, Almora, Dexter, Baez, FA RF Heyward, Bryant, Soler, FA

    Being in the park would be amazing, but just the crowd during and after the Royals scheduled WS parade was bad enough. Our families plan has always been (and we had them reserved last season) was to be in a hotel downtown to just be in the city. Edit: also, have you ever thought about the other team not being able to get out? That would really suck for them. I believe the players' wives commented when they saw the new clubhouse that they just plan on possibly staying in the clubhouse overnight if they win at home.

    Yeah, I keep trying to talk my dad into this. Hell, I'm even saying just go to the first Wrigley game and sell the rest, including any possible elimination game. Also, I think I would enjoy being at a game earlier in a series than later. Going to Game 4 of the NLCS SUCKED last year. If it was Game 1 or Game 2 I probably would have been much more, "sucks we lost, but at least I went to a NLCS game."
