    Sale threw 8 IP of 1 H ball and handed a 3-0 lead over to Robertson who allowed 4 runs in the bottom of the 9th. Hoping for some awesome Hawk Harrelson material out of this.

    Mike Fiers and AJ Hinch have been arguing in the dugout about something (presumably the way Fiers handed Hinch the ball when he was removing him from the game). A lot of Astros have been involved in the argument and it's slowly simmering over a couple of innings now. For some reason Marwin Gonzalez stared down the A's pitcher after hitting a HR and very slowly trotted around the bases. Definitely edgy game for some reason that the A's announcers can't figure out.

    If I wasn't saving up vacation days for postseason trips to Chicago I'd probably drive the 3 hours to go watch.

    If the White Sox rotation holds (and they don't have any off days, so it probably will) the starter we will miss will be Quintana.

    Just. Slide. Straight. In. I don't understand why it's July and there are still MLB players not sliding straight into 2B. If I'm a manager we go hard straight into 2B every time and never over slide.

    Wait wait wait wait. They said last inning that Collins said every team should make an appearance in the game and that was the whole deal with Diaz. The NEW YORK METS have not appeared in this game.

    I just want a few Stanton clouts that are jaw dropping. Also, Trumbo hit one on top of the Royals HoF in the 2012 derby. He can hit it far too.

    After the bad Baez play in the 7th I turned it off. I'd had enough. I'm shocked we won. Now come back from the break like this never happened and just be decent so we can coast to the playoffs.

    he's at 4.4% now lol I haven't been paying close attention to the numbers and have only been sparingly watching this team the last week because it is soooo depressing, but it seems like he has been walking a ton the last week or two. He's also getting a lot deeper into counts, but again, that's just what it has seemed like to me.
