I'm pretty annoyed that Chapman is pitching now and was not brought in with 2 on 0 out in the 8th. He doesn't have to throw both innings. He just needs to be in the highest leverage situation. -

I don't remember the details, but a few weeks ago Ron Kulpa was behind the plate for a Cardinals game and literally handed them a win. I'm thinking it was against the Brewers. So... Don't care.

I want to play the Rockies. With the wind blowing out for the 2 games at Wrigley we may break the record for HR in a postseason series. Which will be quite the feat since we will win in 3.

Some teams have done both and some haven't if my memory is correct. On the one hand teams who are way in front usually just celebrate the division, but on the other hand were not like other teams. Meaning: we do what we want.

I don't need any extra incentive to have my stomach doing flips for a playoff game. I think I took years off my life in the NLDS last year. I never want to see the Cardinals in the playoffs again. If we faced them 5 times in the playoffs and won 4 of them I would still be so pissed about the one time they beat us. I never want to know what it is like to lose a playoff series to those people. -
The Angels and Cardinals are like all playing golf together today in St Louis.

I really hate generous 3-0 strike calls. Would have had 2 on 1 out, but then Baez was CS and Sczcur ended up getting out. I don't think that's a strike if it's 2-1.

If the Cubs win 101 games, they will win the division by 10 or more games. But, the last slide started with a sweep by the Cardinals. Don't get me wrong, I'm not at all worried - but as far as not caring, I still care about results. I was just posting something I thought was interesting. I hadn't read your post yet.
