  1. Yeah yeah, and one of the truly abysmal teams in the league just played you guys to within a touchdown! :) I think there is definitely a chance we'll meet again in the NFC Champ. Certainly matched up very well when we played each other. The Vikings have been in every game except the Bears game.
  2. I know you're being sarcastic, but I want to talk about it anyway. The Packers will likely run the table against the AFC West with San Diego (away) being the most difficult matchup. Raiders (home) and Chiefs (away) look like push-overs. The other 6 games are Minnesota (home), TB (home), Detroit (away), New York Giants (away), Chicago (home), Detroit (home). Tampa Bay may or may not be a pushover. It depends on what team shows up. I think the Thanksgiving game will be a battle, but the Lions are definitely starting to look more vulnerable so I think GB wins. I really like that the Packers have four extra days to prepare for the Giants game (Giants are in NO on Monday night and Packers will be coming off the Thanksgiving game). I think the greatest chance to lose a regular season game will be either one of the last two games because if they are undefeated they will have already locked up homefield advantage and the games will probably be very important for both the Bears and Lions.
  3. So they have 34 points and only had one 3rd down attempt? That's insane. I still think the Saints are the Packers biggest hurdle to Indy. I felt the Packers and Saints played very well in Week 1. I feel the same way. The Saints are damn good. I'm hoping they get eliminated before they face us (assuming we go deep in the playoffs) The Saints O-line is very good.
  4. NAP-O-LI! NAP-O-LI! NAP-O-LI!
  5. I would like him to decline his option, but if he's willing to stick around after 2012 at a reduced rate because he just loves the Cubs so much, I am ok with that.

  7. I like the idea of trading Barney this offseason if the Cubs can get anything of value in return.
  8. 5 BB and tons of lasers. Could be a blowout.
  9. 3 to Jay and 1 to Holliday I believe.
  10. Jackson is giving up a lot of hard hit balls. Hopefully, he gives up a big inning soon before TLR takes him out.
  11. November 24, 2008 at New Orleans is the last time the Packers have lost a game that wasn't close. You're going to win a lot of close games when every loss you have is a close game. That.....doesn't make any sense It wasn't worded the best way. What I was trying to get across is the Packers are either winning every game they play or very close to winning every game they play for nearly a 3-year period including postseason games. You (not you specifically) can't complain that a team wins a lot of close games when they have kept themselves within reach of a W for nearly 3 seasons worth of games.
  12. I know you don't wanna hear this and your going to think I am a Packer homer (I am) but good teams tend to be able to win those. not every single one of them. winning close games is a sign of luck as well. the packers are probably the best team in the NFL, but they've been very lucky. You might have missed this: Packers lost 6 close games last year. 4 games by 3 points and 2 games by 4 points. They were in the game with after the 2-minute warning in each of those losses.
  13. I'm training in Cleveland right now and that was the only game on TV here for the early game. It was a horrible game. The defenses weren't even good. There was a bunch of dropped interceptions and receptions. Miserable game.

  15. Dagger! 7-0!
  16. A run play that gets a first down when you need to run out the clock?
  17. McCarthy continues to be a bad 4th quarter coach with the lead.
  18. No timeouts. Wonderful.
  19. He was held by the facemask it appeared on the very first play of the game as well.
  20. Matthews was blocked in the back AND that was NOT roughing the passer.
  21. Aikman is clearly jealous of Rodgers.
  22. Yep. It's insane. WOODSON!
  23. DISCOUNT DOUBLECHECK! Rodgers is in a league of his own right now.
  24. Easiest NFL TD I can remember seeing.
  25. I don't think Pena would accept another 1-year deal.
