  1. If the Hawks win this series... do they fire Drew for keeping him on the bench all year? Is he this good, or is he getting ridiculously lucky with some of these shots?
  2. I don't think he threw an elbow just to throw an elbow. I think he was protecting his teammate who was right underneath him (who just took a charge that wasn't called btw).
  3. Every response tacks on 5 posts during next game. STOP FEEDING THE TROLLS!
  4. Why are you always talking about field goal percentage? It's like harping on someone's batting average. Psst. He's hungry. And you just fed him. Don't feed him.
  5. I have no confidence in that game right now. You just gave me a drama overdose.
  6. Was this for the offensive foul where Pachulia basically decided to lay out and take a nap? Really? Lol, Boozer lowered his shoulder into him I dont know what you are watching if thats what you seen. It was obvious as hell Wrong.

  8. Two names I'd like to add to the discussion: Evan Crawford and Pierre LePage. I think both are long shots to be productive major leaguers, but their numbers this year are encouraging. Especially Crawford who has a .933 OPS and is 8-0 SBs to CSs raising his success to 82% in his minor league career.
  9. Here's to hoping Jackson is a scratch at Iowa.
  10. Cerda has always been worth following. He walks a lot, shows some flashes of power, and is an infielder that hits lefty. Lots to like. The only problem is if he's not going to play 2B, he's going to have to hit for more power to stick at 3B. His height suggests he's going to have problem hitting for that much power. LePage was a 13th round pick last year, so I would assume the Cubs saw a bit of upside when they took him. He's done nothing but hit and take walks since he was draft (most of the walks coming this year). His height is a limiting factor as well. If the guy can keep his .400+ OBP going, I would think he'll be a guy we'll keep an eye on.
  11. I don't see any reason to let Stalberg go. I can't see him commanding much money, and with the explosive potential he has, I like giving him a couple of opportunities a game to just dump the puck up the middle of the zone and let him try and chase one down.
  12. Was that Noah trying to literally take Deng out with an elbow to head? Or being called for 2 flagrant fouls in game 3? I think that was your teamate Mr. Granger you know - Jeff Foster. McRoberts, Boozer, Noah, Foster, and Thomas all threw notable elbows in this series (and I easily could be missing someone-did Hibbert throw one at any point?). It was not confined to one side-not at all. And it definitely looks like Noah got McRoberts with a pretty nasty elbow right before he tried to swing at him (which is also what McRoberts said happened). McRoberts was really dumb to go after him though-at least Noah's was slightly in the flow of play. I hope you're not counting the elbow to Hansbrough's head in game one as Thomas throwing an elbow. There's no way that was intentional. None. If there was another instance, I can't think of it. Boozer, I don't remember seeing but I didn't see most of game 4. I know he was guarding with his off hand when going up for baskets, but I don't remember any flagrant fouls. Noah last night took position under the basket, raised his arm to hold his position, and McRoberts tried to run through him. Noah obviously extended his arm as McRoberts made contact, but I wouldn't say that's dirty as much as it's self defense. Take another look. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1Id0BM9JBM To try and imply the dirty play was on both sides is delusional. Sorry.
  13. I heard second hand from a friend in Memphis that the radio commentators said Jackson was throwing 91-93 mph throughout his outing. They would've had to have been looking at a different gun. I never saw the stadium gun hit 90. At least not in the first 4 innings. I hope it's true though. Do they display the stadium gun on the scoreboard or something?

  15. Wrong. It's sad how much you're trying to make your point be right. It's just not. I agree that he's taking too many, but if you're really trying to convince people here that most of his three point shots in this series are wide open, then you really must think we are collectively less intelligent/coherent than Dick Stockton.
  16. Yep. The Bulls and Thunder shouldn't have much trouble coasting to their respective conference finals.
  17. I noticed Rhee has only made one appearance on 4/9 which he pitched very effectively in but hasn't since. Anyone hear of him running back into the injury bug or anything? EDIT: Nevermind. I saw in the 4/9 thread that he had to be removed because of a blister.
  18. I saw spurts of effort on the defensive side of the ball from Boozer, specifically his team defense. He was giving up some open long range looks to Hansbrough again though. Still, would rather he give up those than letting him drive to the basket.
  19. imb! kicked the crap out of SSR in trolling this game thread Caballo is making a late push here. Regardless, there's at least six more games for them to make their mark. I am not even in the same league has imb! and ssr. Don't sell yourself short. I think with a little more effort you could troll with the best of them.
  20. LOL! Stockton stating Indiana's foul to give could prove important. I don't think he meant it could be important to the Bulls more than the Pacers.

  22. Crap. I forgot why this isn't going to work out for the Bulls. I'm not quite as excited anymore. :(
  23. Anybody have any insight on Kurcz and why he's starting this year? Are they just putting him through the Maestri treatment and giving him extra innings to develop secondary pitches? Or are they trying to convert him to a starter?
