  1. well now you ruined scarey's whole point I meant it in the nicest possible way. I'm sure he didn't take it personally, as he's been a dick for a long, long time. Stannis is just pissy because he got stuck w Dragonstone and a bossy redhead. Wait... I'm confused. Am I the dick? Or is Stannis? Or are both of us? I didn't even know I made enough noise around here to be given a reputation like that.
  2. I don't care about Sosa. I care when someone makes an unfair comparison. Frohman gave his opinion on the subject, and it was against the grain of everyone else's opinion. I would say that's not being a dick compared to telling someone to go [expletive] themselves. Can you see how those two things are different? Frohman made an impassioned idiotic post and got called out on it. Then you pretended you were too cool for school while contributing to the length of a thread you were baffled could be this long, before exposing yourself as a liar. So you admit, that he just made an impassioned idiotic post and was not being a dick? Good day sir.

  4. Decent points, try not being such a [expletive]. Says the guy who went nuts on this topic earlier. He didn't tell anyone to go [expletive] themselves...
  5. I'm pretty baffled that people adamant enough about Sosa to make an 8 page thread about all this. Does it help the Cubs win? No? http://www.chicagonow.com/chicago-sports-media-watch/files/2013/04/jay-cutler-meme.jpg
  6. swing and a miss? Is that why it wasn't fighting? Because he missed?
  7. So... apparently that Blue penalty was unsportsmanlike conduct for both Handzus and Tarasenko, then a roughing by Ott. How is that not fighting by Ott? Just because Handzus didn't swing back? I'm not complaining, I'm legitimately confused by that call.
  8. Glad to hear it. It was also the best decision for himself. I don't know what next year's class looks like, but I have to think he stands out better next year compared to this year.
  9. Is it possible the Cubs found a #3 in Wada? He's on year two of recovering from TJS, and when he initially came over to the States he was touted as a mid rotation type.
  10. Well, the people that don't care for Purdue can have a little smile at this. Point guard Ronnie Johnson is transferring. If Hammons ends up going to the draft (possible although I'm not sure he wants to contend with this ridiculous draft class), that would leave Purdue without their top three scorers (Hammons, Johnson, and Johnson) after a year when they finished dead last in the conference. They'll also be losing Juco transfers Peck and Carter who played significant minutes. Oh yeah, and Jay Simpson who looked promising will not be playing because he enjoys living. What a truly miserable era of Purdue basketball...
  11. I'd like to see: Houston at DE. Whitner, Mitchell, Ward, whoever at SS. Walter Thurmond III at CB. Trade down, get an extra 3rd. Draft DT, DE, CB in the first 3 rounds. Maybe throw in a backup RB or QB if one falls to the 3rd (Mettenberger, Garoppolo). Then S, LB, TE, and whichever position of RB/QB you don't pick with that extra 3rd. I would be pretty surprised to see Houston at anything but the 3 technique.
  12. He thought they should start McCown over Cutler. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/12/11/urlacher-mccown-should-start-even-if-cutler-is-healthy/ He also had some things to say when Jay got paid. http://www.suntimes.com/25242195-761/urlacher-dishes-on-cutler-lovie-trestman-and-all-things-bears.html I was mainly talking about the rumors he was pretty anti-Cutler basically from the moment he showed up. He was like a big dumb dying jungle animal trying to maintain his spot at the head of the pack. Regardless of how he feels, does he really not understand how bitter he sounds on all this? I'm sure he has a publicist right? Is that person just collecting a pay check?
  13. Anti Cutler stuff? Didn't he call Cutler a [expletive] once off the record before he even knew him? Or am I forgetting other stuff?
  14. Crap, I really enjoyed watching him play unlike half of the team.
  15. I love Tillman, but Bailey is clearly a better player. I think Bailey is in the Hall, Tillman is not.
  16. Also, he can go train with his brother and the rest of the Marshall group in the off season.
  17. pete carroll is a truther; that's plenty of reason to hate him. That's just one of many reasons too. He's probably the person (coach, player, etc.) most deserving of hate in the NFL. There's nothing irrational about it.
  18. Me. Who are you? Damn dude, we've talked on here, haven't we? We have, but I didn't know you were Payton. You were always jsut davell to me, lol.
  19. If you believe in Karma, you guys must feel like you did something wrong when the Johnson brothers go 6-6 from the line down the stretch. I don't know what the odds of that happening are but they've got to be pretty low. Between that and the one sticking the three while we missed like a thousand front end of one on ones lol, I felt it wasn't our night. I feel like anything we did wrong was probably paid off in full with the last 5 years of the Weber era. Both of them hitting a combined 6 free throws is much more improbable than one of them hitting a random three.
  20. My favorite part about being a Purdue fan is that the refs love my team as much as I do. That love is despite the despicable Mackey Arena crowd who cries about every call against them. It's very big of the zebras to overlook that.
  21. I'm entertained by how you act like this is a rare occurrence. This is the 5th year in a row Purdue has won in Champaign. I mean except when we won by 20 last year, at home. Whoops, my mistake. I remember being so pissed off at losing that game that I figured it must have been a home loss. Fair enough. You're 1/5 in the last 5 years on your home court.
  22. So this whole mystery big story has gone on three days now. Pretty annoying.

  24. Trestman is a pretty interesting guy, at least unique among the coaching community. Then you have a very famous QB who is easily cast as a villain and has his every facial expression critiqued regularly. You have the super religious pro bowl RB who has probably been owned in fantasy by just about everybody who has played the game by now. You have a mentally disturbed star WR, an emerging star WR, a crazy TE, Howie Long's son and what is going to be massive turnover on defense. Emery and Trestman alone could make for all sorts of weird clips with their strange speaking styles. Trestman is not what the average viewer expects out of an NFL head coach. You're not going to get any bravado or tough guy stuff from him. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see it. It's not me that needs to be convinced though. I don't think the average viewer is going to be very interested in Trestman and I think that hurts the chances of the Bears being selected.
