  1. How can anyone see that and say they aren't sure the ball was moving?
  2. So... was that play calling unbelievably better? Or did it just seem that way because they executed?
  3. I was hoping McDermott would be more solid on defense than he's shown so far. Mirotic has looked good on defense. He moves extremely well for a big man. Whenever I saw him when he played for Real Madrid, he didn't look like he had a ton of burst. I wonder if Thibs picked up his pace. My only complaint early on is his picks are extremely lazy.
  4. Rice/Peterson will take the majority of the heat, but is Marshall lumped in with them now? I doubt it. A lot of the national guys didn't know he was even talking till it was halfway over judging by twitter. There's zero new allegations, yesterday was she-said...today was he-said...but there's going to be no "money shot" ending to this. There's just no payoff for the national media to talk about it significantly. Chicago media on the other hand can make something like this last an eternity until the guy is run out of town. I flipped on B&B and they are presenting this as a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE deal. That probably is reflective of your above statement.
  5. Rice/Peterson will take the majority of the heat, but is Marshall lumped in with them now?
  6. The only creepy weirdo I see in there is Mason Plumlee.
  7. I thought the line in particular played very well. Lance Briggs had a terrible game and, because of two plays, gave up 85 of Buffalo's 193 yards on the ground. He completely missed his assignment on each of those long run plays. D Line still needs more pressure, but I thought they played a better game than people are recognizing.
  8. My guess is none of us remember this after about 6 weeks.
  9. Has anybody read anything on how well Bairstow has been playing? Is he going to take Nazr's 7 minutes per game?
  10. I know what I'll be doing on my drive home Apparently he'll be on for an entire hour, doing a cook-off at Chicago Cut against Tom Waddle. Hopefully this happens to Waddle. http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view3/1548877/billy-madison-laughing-o.gif

  12. When the Harden saga was ongoing, I never once heard a Bulls rumor or report that they reached out to him. I could be wrong. I also understand Noah is GarPax's guy, but I would have exchange him with Howard at the time without hesitation. Are you just making up trades that you think other teams would accept?
  13. When did the Bulls push a Harden deal off the table?
  14. Ariza please.
  15. I'm fairly sure it's that one. Apparently, he goes by Niko too.
  16. Pau Gasol turns 34 years old in two days. Anyone else flat out not interested in bringing him in? I'd much rather bring in Brand or Harrington at a fraction of the price and invest in a SF (assuming no Anthony).
  17. Which part is bogus? Its a sourced story from people inside the org, allegedly. Wouldn't Broussard understand who his source is before he writes the damn article? http://www.ebengregory.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/mj-laughing.gif
  18. I know things are looking grim for Olt right now, so let me give you a positive example for us to compare him to. Brandon Moss hit to the tune of a .668 OPS in his age 25 season with the Pirates. He's a guy that I thought was a wasted roster spot in 2009. Three straight years of .850 OPS has me thinking a guy like Olt, who has a similar batting profile to Moss, could have things click into place some day. I realize there's quite a difference between .668 and Olt's .600, but I don't see why Olt couldn't improve in the same strides as Moss did.
  19. Would a law suit actually stop the Cubs from doing whatever they want? I think they could suffer punitive punishment after the matter or be forced to take down signs if they lost (which they won't), but they could technically do what they want. That was my impression at least.
  20. That was freaking brutal to listen to on the ride home. I park the car in the 119th minute thinking I had plenty of time to run inside and watch the end. Nope. Game's over. How the hell did they only give 1 minute of stoppage time? Un-freaking-real.
  21. Did we know his hammy was already bothering him? He had kinesiology tape on it already.
  22. Belgium is pretty sloppy early on as well.
  23. Ugh, Bradley continues to be challenged offensively. Just cannot distribute cleanly.
  24. Mully and Abbatacola were freaking out on the Score this morning because Gar talked last night about how they "didn't know who they were going to see" today. http://cdn.memegenerator.net/instances/500x/51969950.jpg
  25. A lot of people, on this board and otherwise, seem to think so based on what they are saying about the whole situation. My apologies if I'm wrong about that.
