    Am I the only one who is starting to pay more attention to what the Nationals are doing rather than the Brewers/Cardinals?

    I'm not really surprised the Cubs are getting shutout so far; I'm much more surprised they were able to score 4 runs yesterday. Brutal, absolutely brutal.

    Good lord Ascanio looks filthy right now.

    Looking over some numbers to further depress myself and I noticed that not one Cub player is on pace to have more than 76 RBIs. Soriano leads the team with 27 through 58 games. When was the last time a team didn't have anyone with more than 76 RBIs and didn't trade away a player to achieve that?

    Harden with the best at bat of the inning. That's unbelievably depressing.

    Nothing surprising there; a runner got in scoring position so it was time to play like a bunch of little leaguers.

    When's the last time the Cubs gave up 4 runs in a three game series and lost the series?

    Lou would have to care in order for him to get mad.

    There is not one Cubs team I have disliked more than this one.

    If the Cubs don't score today they are on pace for 696 runs compared to 855 last year. Even in the horrible 2006 and 2005 seasons they had 716 and 703 runs respectively. Pathetic doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of describing how bad this offense is.

    Great job cob offense; another game lost that even a semi competent set of hitters would have won.

    It's so wrong that a sac fly wins this game because the ump blows two calls in the same at bat.

    If this team had an average MLB offense they would be really good.

    This is just one of those games where I can't envision the Cubs scoring.

    Nah, dangerous hitters up who have seen him several times. I'd go with the Gooz. That sounds nice as well; the problem is you know Lou isn't going use Gooz. He's going to make us endure another Gregg induced heart attack.

    This team has zero clutch ability.

    Is there any doubt that Milton's leg explodes if Fuku hits a single here?
