  1. Make it 10 and somehow Cueto will pitch through 6 innings tonight Cueto left the game with with 2 outs in the first. His ERA took a jump of almost 3/4 of a run.
  2. Kosuke's OPS is suddenly sitting at .824. I'd take that every year from a CF.
  3. Fuku must stay in the lead off from here on out.
  4. GJ Font, at least we get the pitcher's spot out of the way now.
  5. Not sure why he jumped, but way to stay with it Milton.
  6. On pace for 33 HR and 108 RBI for the season now. ESPN has him on pace for 35 and 116.
  7. I hope Wells pitches a good game tonight. National exposure could give him the attention he deserves.
  8. I love Kosuke's production since he's been in the lead off.
  9. Every time a Cubs game has been on CSN and ESPN, it has been blacked out on ESPN for me. I'm speaking from experience here. It will be blacked out. its on espn here... On ESPN here in Evanston Same in St. Charles.
  10. Fuld, Shark/Hart/Patton. With the ASB coming up and a rested Guzman, I wouldn't be surprised if they go with a short pen.
  11. What's the deal with Marco Carrillo? His name isn't brought up much when people talk about top prospects, but the results have been undeniable. Looking at his numbers and his GO/AO I wouldn't think that his performance was sustainable, but he put up some really good numbers in Daytona last year as well.
  12. Coleman's final line 8IP 2H 0R 0ER 3BB 4SO ERA 2.56 Marco Carrillo is in for the 9th.
  13. Colvin having a big game with a HR (7) and two doubles so far. Coleman is through 6 scoreless and Vitters added a triple to his earlier double.
  14. I agree...I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that Hoff is safe.. Ridiculous. Why? Cause it means we will be keeping either Fuld or Patton up. Both of which are not big leaguers. I would love for Patton to be gone, but it doesn't seem to make much sense for the Cubs to hang on to him for so long and then drop him at this point. Fuld is pretty much a foregone conclusion to me.
  15. I agree...I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that Hoff is safe.. Ridiculous. Why?
  16. I wonder if Hoffpauir doesn't get sent down. The guy sees extremely limited action as it is. It's nice to have a lefty off the bench, but Fox is mashing and Fontenot is finally getting hot again.
  17. Yeah the zone has definitely gotten bigger.
  18. I have a really bad feeling Fox is going down. They aren't going to release Baker or Blanco by sending them down. Sadly Fox looks like the only choice.
