    So Lou knows that Angel's arm is sore yesterday; he then proceeds to let him pitch two innings. Now the Cubs are without their best reliever for two weeks. This might even surpass Dusty Baker type stupidity.

    I really feel badly for Wood. I wanted to win, but I hate seeing the guy implode like that.

    The discomfort is not in his arm...although I still wouldn't put him out there. Edit: There are conflicting reports. Some say triceps, other say under his arm. That's a huge difference in what the soreness could be. If it's triceps pain than that is very worrying.

    I really hope what Len and Bob were saying about Guzman was false. If Lou's putting him in there despite arm pain he needs to be punched.

    Miles is now down to a .492 OPS and .198 BA; that is so far beyond horrible.

    Sadly that's as hard as Miles has hit the ball in a while.

    He's staying back on the ball so much better today.

    I'd say yank him but thanks to some poor bullpen managing they can't spare another pitcher.
