  1. That might be enough for one of them Might? Really? A closer, a starting SS/2B, a guy who has excelled as a loogy(and can spot start) and a guy who has potential as a DH. Not to mention they're all very cheap and most under team control for a bit. They would instantly have 3 or 4 guys they would put on the field right now.
  2. I would love this pickup, but I suspect the asking price is going to be excessive for what he provides.
  3. http://forum.orioleshangout.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89733 Are we this delusional when it comes to trades? Some of those trades like "Pie and a prospect or two for Harang and Votto" are so obscenely ridiculous it almost seems like they're intentionally being absurd. I'm also a big fan of Guthrie, Luke Scott and a prospect for Harang, Rolen and Votto. If I'm the Reds, I'm not moving Votto for anything short of two of Matsuz, Tillman, Erbe and someone like Nolan Reimold.
  4. As you said, Votto is really unlikely. Even so, he's the type of player I'd be more than willing to move Castro and Vitters for. As long as he's recovered from last year, he looks like he's going to be an elite hitter.
  5. I have never seen a list that I disagreed with as much as this one. I just see some of these players completely different than he does I guess.
  6. That would be really depressing if he's hurt now. It's been a while since I've been so excited about a prospect.
  7. Wow, even a Cubby blue koolaid sipper like myself is caught off guard by this. I was thinking Castro might be in the 35 to 40 range, but might he be even higher than that?
  8. Wow, I feel bad for Bush right now. They need to pull him because something is certainly not right. Letting him continue to pitch is going to really hurt Bush either mentally or physically.
  9. Very impressed with Tyler so far. He's fighting off the tough pitches and has managed to walk in 2 of his first 5 plate appearances.
  10. Wow, what a devastating few months for their farm; first that idiotic trade and now this.
  11. hahah, I give up. Chicago sports cause me so much more pain than pleasure.
  12. That touchdown pretty much sealed a week one loss for my fantasy team....
  13. Vasher is unbelievably bad; can we cut him already?
  14. There was no reason not to go for it. What's the difference if you're down 2 or 1; either way a FG takes the lead. They absolutely should have gone for 2.
  15. That free field goal is so huge right now. The Pack would have to score a TD if not for that.
  16. If Mannely really made that call he needs to be gone tomorrow.
  17. If they don't win this challenge then that has to go down as one of the stupidest play calls in the history of football.
  18. Ron Turner is the stupidest [expletive] human being ever.
  19. Fantastic, with all these injuries the Pack are just ramming it down the Bear's throat now.
  20. omg, [expletive] you Ron Turner you coward.
  21. ....and now they're almost out of FG range.
  22. Ugh, could we lose more players tonight....
  23. Ogunleye has been absolutely fantastic.
