  1. Wow, what a comeback Cleveland. That defense is terrifying.
  2. Cleveland got robbed. Jacobs apparently recovers a fumble with 1 hand while the Cleveland player has both arms wrapped around it.
  3. Minnesota kicker makes a 62 yard FG with plenty of extra distance.
  4. Did Caleb face 2 elite defenses in his first two games?
  5. I did not expect Minnesota to absolutely destroy Cincy even without Burrow.
  6. Another early hot take. Either the Raider oline is awful or the Bears dodged a huge bullet with Jeanty.
  7. I think both teams are going to put up 30+
  8. Early things of note Cam Ward has been pretty damn bad so far. Minnesota offense moves down the field effortlessly with McCarthy out.
  9. Honestly Illinois arguably shouldn't even be in the top 25 after this. That was just a huge embarrassment.
  10. How can a team that is going to win 90 games feel so consistently bad?
  11. So Oriole pitcher Trevor Rogers started the year recovering from injury and missed a good deal of the season. Since his return, in 106.2 IP he has posted a 1.35 ERA 2.31 FIP and 3.85 xFIP with with 3.6 fWAR going into tonight's 6IP 1H 0ER 2BB 7K performance. Does he show up on the Cy Young ballet despite the limited innings?
  12. On the plus side I have Ceedee Lamb on my team, so yay?
  13. If they can lock up the #1 WC seed, I'd like to see Boyd skipped or at least pushed back a few days. He has thrown way more innings then he has in the past and even his mental game could probably use a breather.
  14. From a strictly fan point of view, sure. From a team composition and age perspective, I'm out. You've got Ballesteros and Seiya who are this point are both basically DHs. To then bring in another DH on top of that, who is going to be 33 on opening day and likely want 4 or 5 year deal, nah I want no part of that.
  15. I'm not even mad at the Brewers. Kudos on what could be a 100 win season. Winning 93ish games wins you division far more often than not, just not this year.
  16. Before the season there is no world I would have believed that the Cubs would have had to win roughly 100 games to take the division. If you had told me they were going to 92 or 93 games I would have told you they probably won the division by at least half a dozen games.
  17. Nico doesn't get enough love. The guy is at 4.6 fWAR so far this year and 19.8 fWAR for his career. A very good chance he finishes his career with more than 30 fWAR, maybe even 35. That would put him in the same territory as guys like Aramis Ramirez and Derek Lee.
  18. I mean, NL ROY has to be all but locked up at this point no?
  19. Another strong start. His season ERA is down to 2.66, his record is sitting at 11-4 and even his peripherals are starter to look strong. His FIP is now to down 3.53.
  20. It was on ESPN.com when I posted that.
  21. Um, I had no idea he'd been called up only a couple months after he was drafted and that he's starting. That's pretty crazy.
  22. Daniels is having knee surgery and status is uncertain McCarthy hurt his and is out 2-4 weeks. Burrow is done for 3 months
  23. On the plus side of things, for QBs in their first two years By QBR Those ahead of Caleb #15) Michael Penix - 62.6 #16) Drake maye- 60.3 #17) Caleb Williams - 57.7 Those behind Caleb #18) Spencer Rattler - 57.6 #26) Bo Nix - 43.6 #28) Jayden Daniels- 39.1 #32) J.J McCarthy - 20.4 #33) Cam Ward - 19.9 Other notables #27) Justin Fields - 41.7 #30) Bryce Young - 36.4
  24. I'll be interested to see the snap count for week 2 for Loveland and Burden. It felt like even less than week 1 where Loveland had a 56.7% and Burden a 26.9%
