    They already blew 5M on Motte, I'd prefer they not do the same on Soriano who was absolutely terrible the last half of 2015.

    Former Cub, and now Cardinal, Carlos Villanueva has a scoreless 1 2/3 so far today bringing his season ERA down to .55

    Russell needs to be going.

    Last year he started pulling the ball more often and it led to a bit of a power surge. This year he has gotten extremely pull happy. He's rolling over or missing everything on the outer half. Absolute best thing he could do is start going the other way with the ball.

    So we're going to ignore that last year he was on pace for 3.5fWAR, which would have made him 5th for all qualified shortstops, and instead focus only on 144PAs this year.

    I cannot stand how we shift for Murphy. He never pulls the ball. Play him up the damn middle.

    Strop looks like he's back to being filthy.

    While he does ground out a lot, when he smokes one up the middle is probably not the time to make that comment.
