  1. I kind of want Tsutsugo to land with the WSox. Him in RF and Eloy in LF would be very entertaining.
  2. Mancini is so bad in the OF and starts costing really money the next 3 years through arbitration. He’d have to come really cheap to me because that’s a big risk to try and back yourself in the corner with that potential OF defense. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think you could probably land him for an Alzolay or less package. I can't imagine he would take any of Amaya, Davis,Nico or Marquez. Or were you thinking even cheaper?
  3. What does it cost to add Mancini and Hunter Harvey? Mancini is basically Castellanos, but cheaper and Harvey has closer stuff when healthy.
  4. If the Orioles trade Mancini, they may be historically awful this year. This a bad look for MLB when you run out a team that isn't even remotely competitive and it's not like they're making room to give prospects a shot.
  5. With the Twins and WSox both in on Madbum and now that CHW lost Wheeler, the White Sox pretty much have to throw crazy money.
  6. Yeah that's absolutely miserable. Whitney's upside is crazy. But he's coming off an entirely list year. Lodolo is "safe", but is best case scenario mid rotation with back end more likely. A 3B whose bat is barely justifiable at the position and is just average with the glove. Then another SP with backend projections. The only guy with any projection beyond average is coming off a season with shoulder issues and a step back in command.
  7. 18M is pretty crazy. With that said, Soroka, Folty, Fried and Hamels is a solid 1-4.
  8. Given the monetary limitations, I have no interest in NC. The OF defense would be bad and there would be very little money to fill the SP/RP needs of a team that was already only mediocre with him.
  9. Not sure where he would play, but add Domingo Santana to the list
  10. Treinen nontendered. So many interesting options.
  11. Taijuan Walker nontendered and another guy I'd be all over.
  12. Would love to take a chance on the nontendered Aaron Sanchez.
  13. I don't see him listed, but I've mentioned Kipnis before as a guy I'd like to take a chance on.
  14. I've been on the Starling Marte train for a while and he recently said he'd like to be traded to a contender. I'd love to have him and I bet the cost is lower than Merrifield
  15. If I'm moving Contreras to Toronto, Simeon Woods-Richardson is a must. Super high on him and think he's a top 50 guy by the end of 2020
  16. Ew, no even as fun as Adell might be I like Canning quite a lot and he was really good until Skaggs died. After that he fell apart.
  17. The return for Bryant is reasonable, but Griffin and Nico for Whit is a huge overpay.
  18. I don't see how they can possibly keep him next year. This team has become a train wreck and he just keeps slamming his head into the wall doing the same ineffective things over and over.
  19. If the Cubs are going to take a good jump forward without trading Contreras/Bryant, and given their money limitations, I think Kim and Akiyama are your best gamble.
  20. I can't imagine Theo would want to pay him the 10 or so million he's due in arbitration. If he clears then maybe something could get done.
  21. Graveman signs with Seattle 1.5M. I honestly wish we would have grabbed him for that and filled the SP5 slot with a combination of Mills/Alzolay/Graveman/Cotton
  22. The Ray's throw something like Mcclanahan, Brujan and Ryan on the table and I'd be pretty happy. Fairly safe to assume McKay and Franco are going nowhere.
  23. Merrifield would be a great add if you can get him for a package where Happ or Alzolay is your lead piece, but from everything that has been rumored they're looking for a stud package and he just doesn't warrant it.
  24. Playing the Asian market is interesting. If they did something crazy like Akiyama,Tsutsugo and Kwang-Hyun, they wont, they could potentially fill 3 starter slots for between 15-20m. Definitely a lot of bang for your buck there.
