Just reading the tea leaves, but I think Yamamoto is very unlikely and seems to be the main off season focus for a bunch of other teams, while he seems to be secondary to Ohtani for the Cubs. I do believe the Cubs are all in on Ohtani, but the Chicago sports fan in me has been stuck dealing with dumpster fires for too long to be optimistic on that front. I'm hoping for more but I'm expecting an offseason like Imanaga, Candelario and Hoskins.
