  1. WR TD drop. Can 1 thing go right please?
  2. 5 hits in 18 innings. Even the most optimistic must realize it's season over at this point.
  3. 3 Hits over the last 13 innings. That's pretty good.
  4. I saw that his ankle was trapped so he couldn't protect his knee when it got tweaked. Didn't look awful, but who knows.
  5. Did the back of that pitcher's jersey say "Baseball Player"?
  6. Hurts with a disaster start to the season
  7. They're 4 games out behind 2 different teams with 22 games to go, it's over. They're sitting at a 2.0% chance. It was still stupid.
  8. It's pretty obvious Baltimore's OC has zero faith in their OL. I haven't seen this many quick outs and bubble screens since Getsy. Lamar is getting the Justin Fields playbook.
  9. I thought, and still kind of do, that he needed to be around a 120-125 wRC+ to comfortably opt out and get his $100M deal. Right now he's at 107 and his defense has slipped from 2023. Could he get his $100M deal? Perhaps, but I think it's far from certain enough to leave 27.5M on the table for 2025.
  10. Frankly I'd be thrilled if Cody opts out. I wont even allow myself to dream on Soto, but for '25 they could add either of O'neil or Santander and still have 5 to 10M left of Bellinger's money left to spend.
  11. This message board would be going crazy if we were watching PCA do, on the White Sox, what he has been doing here. He's just screaming perennial all-star level talent. edit: Robert also sustained a hamstring injury last night
  12. They buried themselves with that absolute dumpster fire of a bullpen the first couple months of the season. Even an average pen for those months and we're talking half a dozen more wins and a very different outlook in these last 20ish games.
  13. Yes I think Love regresses. He's not the best QB in football and in the 2nd half of last season he statistically was. They're also playing in a significantly improved division.
  14. Going to be real surprised if Cam doesn't open 2025 in AA.
  15. Part of this is because for some reason he isn't running as much in the 2nd half. He had that crazy 3 SB game, but he's only attempted 10 SB in the 2nd half and he's 9 out of 10. That's 153 PAs. In the first half, 174 PAs, he attempted 17 SB. Despite being on base far less.
  16. PCA since the ASB(153 PAs): .281/.331/.482 5.9BB% 19.6K% 126 wRC+ .324babip God please let this be who he is as a hitter now.
  17. If Jordan Love channels his inner Tom Brady in his prime again like he did the 2nd half of last year I could see it happening. I find that extremely unlikely though.
  18. Look, Chapman proved me wrong and had a very nice year, but giving him 6 years when he's going to turn 32 not long after 2025 opening day is craziness.
  19. 25 additional pitches from Shota is giving up on the season?
  20. This is not what he did. Baker did it constantly, not just for 1 game.
  21. They got hurt throwing limited innings. It can happen anytime. The likelihood of Shota getting injured on 25 more pitches is just about the same as his first 25. We're not talking Prior going 110 pitches about every time out.
  22. None of them got hurt by over pitching, in fact quite the opposite.
  23. If we're being honest with ourselves, the playoff hopes are basically dead and 25 additional pitches from Shota isn't changing that
