  1. You'd have to pay me to watch that
  2. Fields is your week 3 QB. Things are looking good for that 6th round pick becoming a 4th.
  3. Who is Robert going to DH over? Assuming Bellinger is here, Seiya is your DH. I'm certainly not reducing Seiya/Busch's ABs so I can give them to Robert.
  4. Maybe the Bears should just close up shop PFF had the highest rated player in New Orlean's blow out over Dallas as Lucas Patrick with a 97.2 In last night's ATL/PHI game Darnell Mooney had 3 catches for 88 yards and a TD Guys who look just completely useless on the Bears go to other teams and instantly contribute and many at a high level.
  5. If the Cubs decided to chase Vlad Jr, I wonder if the Blue Jays would want to dump Yariel Rodriguez. I'm not super high on him as a starter, but I am high on him as a pen arm. The slider and Split are both very good. He could probably scrap the change up in the pen and the fastball would likely need a bit of a tweak, but I think he could be a really good pen arm. If he lowered the cost on Vlad Jr, all the better.
  6. Your really think if Cody was a FA today, 4/60 is a realistic deal? I'd consider that an absolute steal.
  7. For sure, but between guys like Little/Pearson/Palencia/Neely there's extremely good stuff that, assuming arms don't fall off. At least a couple of them should be strong BP arms in 2025. Then there's the big questions marks of guys like Merryweather and Almonte, who shouldn't be counted on for anything, but could end up being significant factors in the pen next year.
  8. The bullpen has a ton of promising arms with big time stuff, it's just keeping their arms attached at this point. What they really need in the pen is to add that one solidifying arm. I keep going back to David Robertson. He can be the closer if need be, but can also play the setup role.
  9. It doesn't have to hit the AAV, it just has to have more guaranteed money. He also has a 2.5M buyout if he opts out. So If he can stay hot and go out and get something like 4/90, he'd be wise to do so.
  10. He's up to a 113 wRC+ now. If he continues his recent hot streak for the next couple weeks, he's opting out.
  11. Offense no question. They need a stabilizing consistent big bat. They have a ton of guys who can be counted on to put up 100-130 wRC+ next season, which is solid lineup depth but lacks consistency. They don't have anyone who is likely to be that monster putting up a 150-160 wRC+ season. This lineup needs that one big bat to carry them through their offensive slumps.
  12. A couple things PCA is at 2.6 fWAR in 361 PAs now, which puts him at 4.3 fWAR per 600 PA pace, all while sporting a 93 wRC+. Cody Bellinger is up to a 112 wRC+ and 2.2 fWAR. While I still think it's 50/50 at best that he opts out, if he continues his hot streak for a couple more weeks it would almost assure it.
  13. God, Bryce might have negative yards with the Bears.
  14. 2 weeks into the season and I already have almost no enthusiasm for next week's game.
  15. and the game ends on Odunze not coming back for the ball. Sure why not end this dumpster fire like that.
  16. I hate every person on this OL
  17. Under threw it
  18. Now please horsefeathers block for Caleb without false starts.
  19. He held it against his mask. If that previous catch was a catch because he held against his shoulder, so should this one too.
  20. 3 3rd/4th and 1 attempts, all from the shotgun.
  21. Nice block kmet
  22. You were saying?
  23. Throws a punch and a headbutt, no flag.
  24. Incredibly unimpressed with Waldron
  25. He's definitely seeing the open receivers, but he keeps erring by over throwing like he's afraid to make a mistake and give up the INT.
