Since being hired as athletic director at Illinois the football program has been invited to 5 bowl games in 18 years, amassing a record of 81-126-2, 6th worst amongst the current 66 Bowl Championship Series members. Coaches Hired: * Ron Turner, 1997–2004 * Ron Zook, 2005–current It's time to clean house. Guenther and Zook must go.

So, that really sucked. I'm done with the football program, and done with Zook. What a pathetic display. Guenther has given us nothing but crap, and it is high time the "football guy" get the [expletive] out of town.

bertrand was never going to be ahead of paul. he'll get some minutes. i have to change my opinion of tisdale, he's evolved into a pretty unstoppable offensive weapon down low. Nah, I meant out of the rotation, not over Paul. I thought Bertrand's best chance to play was in the backup PG role. Head's been good on defense so I think Bruce will play him a bit more.

I just think it sends an interesting message to future recruits. A McDonalds All American is setting behind Billy freaking Cole. Our last two Mr. Basketballs can't start for us. I hope it doesn't last much longer. So you think Paul and Richmond should both start now. Nope. But either one should start over Billy Cole. You pretty much have to start McDonalds All Americans, unless you are Duke or UNC and have other ones in front of them. I don't have problem with it for the time being. I will have a problem with it if Jereme is coming off the bench going into Big Ten season. I can't see this arrangement lasting much longer than the games in NY though.
