Wait, are you serious? What he did to the program? Yeah, getting to the national championship was a black eye for the program. Oh you know, not winning a tournament game in 5 years. Acting like a total ass bag cry baby over the Eric Gordon situation. Allowing Jamar Smith to remain on the team. Bruce has done PLENTY to give the program a bad name. His tenure has been troubled and controversial to say the least. Its about wins and losses and if he doesn't start winning soon, he needs to be gone.

I'm spending my evening studying, but I've been following the gametracker and walked into this conversation. We can't fire Bruce, simply because no one will take this job who we would want. Your expectations are out of whack, we aren't IU, we aren't Kansas, we aren't Duke, UCLA or Kentucky. No one is leaving a good gig in a major conference to come here. As bad as Bruce has been, and as much as I hate him for what he did to the program, firing him at this point will not improve the program. What more do you want from him? We know he is a good coach, he's picked up his recruiting, just give him a chance. Anyways, since I'm curious who would be on your short list.

I don't think 10-6 is going to be good enough for some team. There's a slight chance 11-5 might not be good enough which is just insane. Yeah, and just think the NFC West gets a spot no matter what. The week 16 game against the Giants may just end up being bigger than Week 17 against the Bears. Its going to be fun to see this all shake out. I'm rooting for the Rams, they'll be an easier out than the Seahawks at Quest.

I like GB's schedule more than the Bears the rest of the way. Its going to come down to the last week. I'm not making any predictions beyond that.

I think this may be the biggest factor as the year goes on. At one point yesterday, they had 4 guys on the floor who were 6'8" or taller and we were probably still quick enough to not get killed with a mismatch. There's just so much height and depth that if they keep the foot on the gas for an entire 40 minutes, they'll wear teams down and hopefully that can cover enough for the fact that the entire team is allergic to boxing out. My high school coach would have us running and doing box out drills for the entire practice after how pathetic they rebounded yesterday. Awful. Chester was always great at rebounding from the guard spot. I think if we can get Brandon and DJ going to the glass more we might be able to compensate a little bit for our deficiency inside. Finally, shout out to Bill Cole. I crap on you a lot but you played great yesterday.
