  1. The Preseason All American Team is out. Singler, Barnes, JuJuan Johnson, Pullen and Fridette. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=5752533
  2. Wow, sucks to be a Vikings fan. Your team sells its souls to win, and it still can't win. That's downright depressing. I can't comprehend how Childress is still employed.
  3. The Packers game was one of the ugliest displays of football I've seen in a long while. With that said I am thrilled with the victory. It was a gutsy win, and the defense was fantastic. I think we are going vertical too much, but it was nice to see Jennings more involved in the offense.
  4. Good news. ( :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: ) Crean's been on quite the hot streak.
  5. I think Battle, Buford, or Lighty all have arguments to be first team as well. Sullinger may well be on the list at the end of the season, but this looks good.
  6. although i wasn't so fine with randle picking stanford, [expletive] punk. Sweet. I'm geeked. Bank the last scholly go after Steve Taylor and a PG in 2012.
  7. A little under 6 hours until Shaw announces his college decision We need this one. :beg: :beg: :beg: :beg: :beg:
  8. I don't. I just think Chasson did not want to be at Illinois. He's afraid of the guard situation. I think he's a great talent but I think that also says a lot about his competitive mindset. Clearly winning and competing for playing time were not things he was interested in. If he makes the league he's made the right decision. If he uses his Stanford degree to get into medical school he's still made the right decision. I wish him the best of luck.
  9. My money is on Stanford. What time is this going down at?
  10. Picked up Wisconsin, NU, MSU and Purdue. Lets do this
  11. 1. Why are you posting premium information? People pay for that. 2. Scout blows. 3. Its pretty apparent Randle wants to be at Stanford, and would be if it weren't for the distance. Truth is no one will know where he's going until he says where he is going.
  12. Well Brad Childress is an idiot on the level of Mike McCarthy
  13. Enjoy the apology letter from the league, while we enjoy our W.
  14. That felt so good. McCarthy is still an awful coach. I'll admit I felt kinda bad for Brett, but we needed this to move on as a franchise.
  15. Have you seen football in this decade? He gets called for offensive interference more than any WR in the league. Well yes I have. I also watched him bend over the Packers far too many times, so excuse me for actually being happy a deep ball got called back.
  16. Holy crap, Randy Moss is actually called for interference.
  17. Yeah, well our QB has a bigger penis than your QB
  18. Wow, Walker was all over him. Aarons thrown away two easy scores now.
  19. ugh, that was brutal
  20. I really hate the Vikings. Trying to keep my sanity. Our defense sucks
  21. I like Quade, but on the whole I am indifferent. As long as Hendry is around I don't see things getting much better.
  22. Trust me Sulley, if Illinois wins the Big Ten you'll be plenty satisfied. It's been quite some time since we've raised a banner of any kind.
  23. Extremely happy that one of the best players in the country, not to mention a good kid that works hard and stays out of trouble, has a career threatening injury? Classy. I'm excited because now Purdue won't be as good. I feel for the kid, but I hope the program drowns. It's never good when a player gets hurt, but I'm not going to sit back and engage in the sob fest over his ACL. Injuries happen as part of the game, get over it and move on. I never hoped for Robbie to get hurt again, but I'm also not blind to the effects the injury has on the rest of the Big Ten.
  24. Just one Indiana player. No clue what Painter was doing with that class. Edit: And the injury officially takes PU out of the Chasson Randle derby.
  25. Classy. I wouldn't count on Purdue going back to mediocrity anytime soon. I don't think you will fade away. But, I also do not think you are recruiting well enough to be in the top 3 of the Big Ten the next few years. what's purdue's 2012 recruiting class looking like? It's full with 2 four stars, and a three star. They have a verbal from Jay Simpson, a big man out of Champaign, which Illinois didn't even recruit.
