How are they any worse than Illinois at this point? The entire offense is premised on dribble dribble dribble, moving screen, chucked three. No inside game whatsoever.

I think McClain would be a better hire for Bradley if they're looking at Illinois assistants. Really? Whys that? Howard gets all the pub for being the great recruiter. McClain would probably be able to get alot of the Peoria talent however. Howard's way too green to step into a valley level job. McClain could probably run for mayor in Peoria if he wanted to, and might jump at the opportunity for a head coaching gig in his home town. I don't see Bradley hiring any Illini assistant though.

He was comparing him though to Weber and Crean. He's better than those two. Right now I'd take the PU program over both Illinois and IU. But I'm not ready to anoint Painter a better coach than either one of them. He's done it all with one group of recruits, similar to Weber and Crean. I think that Weber outcoached Painter last night, but DMac's second foul killed us. We'll get a much better idea of where Painter stands once his two NBA studs are gone. If Eric Gordon goes to IU straightaway then we might be looking at this from a much different perspective as Moore is probably an Illini. The 07 class caused a four year swing between the two programs, and the next couple years should be interesting.

The thing that pisses me off is that the media still hasn't thrown Bruce in teh fire. As long as Tate is still defending him no one will go negative. He's getting heat from some writers but no one has taken the position he needs to go.
