  1. Hawks now 13-0 in games 5 and 6 in the Toews/Kane era when a series was tied 2-2. This series will end Tuesday
  2. Sunday's game 5 will be at night, exact time TBD. Translation: If Cindy and the Pens eliminate Rangers on Friday, Hawks Wild will be at 6pm, If they don't Hawks will probably be on at 830PM.
  3. Why isn't Bollig still in the press box? Regin and Morin should be playing instead of Bollig and Nordstrom. But I will trust Q. Yesterday's game pissed me off, but the Hawks took the Wild's best punch and if not for a couple of bad bounces the Hawks could have been up 2-0 after two. Keith on the powerplay in period one nearly missed. I still think the Hawks close it out in 5. Even if they lose Friday I wont get too worried.
  4. They lost that game. The Hawks fell behind 3-0 in the third period only to tie it late, but Vancouver got the winner near the end of regulation. It was then that I knew that the Canucks would never win a Cup.
  5. Hjalmarsson "Protect ya neck"
  6. 19-22 includes shootout losses, but I agree they haven't been the best on the road. I think the Hawks lose tonight then win on Friday and close them out Sunday.
  7. Hopefully a 6pm start if it's needed.
  8. Shaw already ruled out for tomorrow but is expected to play Friday. Also Fridays game is at 830pm
  9. Yes this exactly, just look at the Wings of the last 20 years, and now the Hawks. Draft smart, lock up your core, and let the young players be seasoned in the AHL, have them replace the role players as they leave for other teams when their entry level contracts expire.
  10. Until last year the last 9 Cup champions were 9 different teams. That's why I hate the NBA, you know every year as someone above me pointed out that maybe 3 teams have a shot at the title. One or two players makes all the difference in the world from a 20 win team to an NBA champion. Hockey is all about depth, the deepest teams usually are standing at the end.
  11. Just like last year those seeds advanced.
  12. Just watch the Canucks team videos from 2009-2013. They could have made the Olympic diving team.
  13. Round 3 tickets go on sale at noon. I am getting 2 during the 9am presale. Almost not worth it, the 300 level cheap seats are $210 each.
  14. Colorado had the biggest "puck luck" all year. Corsi stats proved that. It was only a matter of time before they regressed to the mean. I think for the season they were at 44% puck possession.
  15. Hawks in 6. Plus if LA is the next opponent it will be home ice in the next round too.
  16. I laughed a little at that article.
  17. Weren't the Blackhawks technically an upset? And Montreal over Tampa.
  18. They will announce the Hawks schedule at the end of the Avs-Wild game tonight. I would guess a Friday start. Kentucky Derby is Saturday so they are doing the Habs-Canadiens game 2 early, so that rules out an Hawks Saturday day game.
  19. They've been doing these for years and that might be my favorite ever. The comment section might even be more funny. Just proves the author's point even more that people from St Louis can't read.
  20. Oh my! This is hilarious! http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/eulogy--remembering-the-2013-14-st--louis-blues-215110580.html
  21. East Coast bias. Tonight I think the Sharks get it done again. They nearly blew a 3-0 lead to Detroit in 2011 only to win game 7. I think they will find a way again. Wild and Rangers also win game 7's tonight
  22. Or Thursday. Or they could do an afternoon hockey game, followed by a night basketball game, right? They wont do Thursday since game 7 isn't until tomorrow. They cant do an afternoon hockey game with an NBA game at night on Saturday, if we see another 3OT game it would be a disaster.
  23. If Minnesota wins tomorrow, game 1 would have to be Friday or Sunday at the UC, unless the Bulls get eliminated tonight.
  24. http://d3j5vwomefv46c.cloudfront.net/photos/large/849747846.gif
  25. The trends continue for the Blues, now if the Hawks win game 5 tomorrow 3-2? In the series against the Kings last year. Game 1 - Steen game winner Game 2 - Jackman game winner Game 3 - Blues outplayed the Kings but Quick pitches a shutout Game 4 - Kings win 4-3 This year Game 1 - Steen game winner Game 2 - Jackman game winner Game 3 - Blues outplayed the Hawks but Crawford pitches a shutout Game 4 - Hawks win 4-3
