  1. My guy has it now down to GB -4.5. The line has dropped 1.5 points since 7pm last night. O/U is up to 51.5 Begging for GB money now? Everyone and their mother seems to be on the Packers. I thought the line would have gone closer to 7 by kickoff
  2. Crawford was not to blame for the loss The too many men non call sucked, but it never gets to that point if the Hawks can actually clear the puck the 6 times they had a chance to previously. Win tomorrow we have home ice. Hawks in 6. The Hawks played a terrible game, and still were an OT goal away from winning. Im not worried.
  3. 6-12-83 Jody Davis hits a grandslam, I was 6 and hooked for life. I got a ball at the game from one of the Cardinal coaches, date of game is still on it. http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CHN/CHN198306120.shtml
  4. 90's Utah Jazz, NY Knicks, Indiana Pacers
  5. I have a feeling Vancouver will be golfing after round 1. They can have a second parade with the coveted Presidents trophy because that is all that crap organization will ever win.
  6. Bovada http://bovada.com/
  7. I was in Vegas last month at Harrahs and they were indeed at 6-1, it also shows the opening line which was posted 10-1-11, they were 40-1 at that point. The guy working the sportsbook said the Cubs always are bet heavy, thus the low odds, but especially when Theo was hired, they got a lot of action and dropped the line to discourage betting. Ever since the Rams won the SB in 1999 at 200-1 Vegas is very touchy about futures bets.
  8. I would assume Emery is starting one of the games this weekend. Check out his new mask. One of the coolest goalie masks I have seen http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/305791_10150427045767915_183763742914_10073874_931238130_n.jpg
  9. Yeah I found it in my inbox. Mentioned the new GM hire, as well as a new perk this year. Early bird signups to the convention get two free bleacher seats to an April weekday game. They are so generous :banghead:
  10. Duncan Keith was the only player on the Hawks with a +3 last night. Yes he fell that led to a goal. But players on both teams were falling down all game. It seemed the ice was crap, as it was 99 in Glendale yesterday. Ill give him a pass
  11. Red Sox fans are such meatheads "Grain of salt, but I heard it's basically, "Put your top prospects on the table, or we will keep 'special assistant' Theo in 2012." Really? Try it, the Cubs have most of the leverage. The Red Sox will look foolish playing it this way
  12. The ? mark isn't in the thread title anymore :clapping: Hopefully the press conference is Friday, then Saturday Theo goes to the Hawks Bruins game wearing a Hawks jersey just to stick it to Boston meatheads
  13. Laddie Renfroe Someone mentioned Gary Scott, I remember that spring training he hit over .400, by May he was sent down.
  14. Both Bolland and Brouwer on the ice at practice today
  15. I wouldnt be suprised if Hammer is traded this offseason to free up cap space. The Hawks strength in their farm system is on the blueline.
  16. As said earlier stealing a game in Vancouver is huge(especially if its game 1). Puts that seed of doubt in their minds from their head coach to Bobby Lou, to the Sisters, all the way down, who are in my opinion nothing but mental midgets. Just this year the Hawks beat them 7-1 there, and if not for two terrible goal/no goal calls winning 3 of 4 against them this year. I think its Hawks in 6 then on to San Jose.
  17. Hawks can clinch a playoff berth tonight with a regulation or OT win, plus one of, a Dallas regulation loss,OT loss, Shootout loss, or Shootout win
  18. Hi, I dont post here much but an OT victory counts just as much as a regulation victory. ROW(Regulation Overtime Wins the first tiebreaker). Hawks were not hurt by winning in OT last night, luckily no shootout. Nice job on the tiebreaking scenarios with all the teams involved BTW.
  19. +200 would be dogs The Hawks are +105 for tomorrow the Flyers -115. Hawks for the series right now would be around -350 is my guess. They were -600 after game 2. -190 after game 4 I dont post here that much but I cant freakin wait til tomorrow. Something tells me a Hawks OT winner off the stick of Hossa in the 1st overtime 3-2 final
  20. If the Hawks can win game 4 the series is theirs. I was hoping for a split in Nashville, woulda been nice in game 3 but it didnt happen. The key to beating Nashville is to get an early first period lead which hasnt happened in any of these first three games if they can do that Nashville has to abandon this dump and chase crap and you will see the Hawks be able to play their style of game. I dont know what happened yesterday, they didnt show up. Win tomorrow and the series is even and the Hawks take this series.
  21. Usually stick to the NFL My plays for this week 1 unit Pit -6 Bears/Pack over 46.5 2 units Car +2 3 units Cin -4
  22. The list is a fake its either a Card fan or a Sox fan very few of them on the list but tons of Cubs. Any list without Albert Pujols is a fake
  23. Id take home ice anyday. Id rather the Ducks win.
  24. I finished college in 1999, luckily the Cubs,Bulls,Bears, and Blackhawks all sucked back then. I hope you can at least DVR the game?
  25. I liked what Sassone said here: "Kevin Bieksa acts all tough, but Dustin Byfuglien blew by him much of the night like he was one of those orange practice cones:.
